Famous Faces on "The Ray Bradbury Theater" (Season 1 & 2)

Entranced by comic strips, magicians and science-fiction magazines, Ray Bradbury began "educating" himself at the Los Angeles Library three to five times a week. In his early twenties, he supported himself by selling newspapers on street corners and writing for radio programs such as "CBS Radio Playhouse, Escape, Suspense and X Minus One."

Bradbury by age 27yrs old, "graduated", having written over several million words. Bradbury has now written over one thousand short stories--400 of which have been published in such magazines as: "Amazing Stories, Colliers, Dime Detective, McCall's, The New Republican, The New Yorker and The Saturday Evening Post." He has also written for "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and for "Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone."
