“ Gorgeous animation, brilliant soundtrack, interesting characters, and tons of emotion all wrapped into one perfect series. Whether or not you're a fan of mecha makes little difference here, watch this if you're a fan of great story telling.

“ Like all ignorant human beings I once thought all anime was giant hair, manly yells, and excessively long power ups. With this in mind, I refused to watch anime...until I saw Monster.
A deep psychological drama that explores the depths of humans desire and the emotional scars that can lead to perverse actions which were seemingly unprovoked. This show completely blew my preconceived misconceptions about anime away with it's depth, realistic animation, and mature subject.

The first season had me laughing through most while still having plenty of deep moments, the second season had me straight up crying.
The animation is excessively cute, the voice acting is superb, and I love this show.

Murder mystery with loli's on killing sprees...what's not to like? Again, one of the first anime series that I watched so I probably overrate it a bit here.

“ The LOTR of anime, containing a gorgeous and fantastic fantasy world. Starts off very slow as it has to ease you into a new world, but by the middle of the series it's impossible to stop watching.

This show is exceptionally good and does the unthinkable and actually manages to be scary at times.

This follows the drama of being a theater actor, while also going a little bit into tv acting. The show is great, but the highlight is definitely when they perform the plays.
