During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.

This is my favorite movie. For a few reasons. Objectively this movie is has a brilliant premise dealing with creating life and what people would do with that life. The fact that they are spending billions of dollars on re creating life just for an amusement park is almost darkly comedic. The first hour talks about everything you would think to ask someone who has brought Dinosaurs back to life. It isn't one of those "But you need to factor this in!" situations, because they factor in everything that each of these characters should be asking. The second hour while it does have spectacular action, it still focuses on characters, because that is what this movie thinks to be most important, despite there being dinosaurs in the background. Another reason I love this movie so mush is because this is one of the first movies I ever saw and it made me want to make movies. Every director and movie reviewer has that one movie that makes them want to do what they do, this is mine.
