Top Teen Horrors

Please consider that Im not from english speaking country so my english is bad. I know I should take my english class in high school more serious.
This is my personal Top best teen horrors list. It is completly made out of some conclusions that i got through my teen horror research:
I hate from the bottom of my heart stupid parahorrors such as Zombieland, Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil, Those are manifestations of stupidicity among todays viewer population. Those two movies are not even horrors nor spoofs. Those two movies are created for lame minded emo kids that cant stand true horrors and are forced to watch those comediehorrors. Lame and disgusting.
Second genre that I also hate is those asian horrors. They are all the same, little girl with pale skin and long disgusting black hair is killing some people due some traumas from the past. Those lame yellow movies are really popular among "horror experts" but I think that they are just unable to enjoy in good american horror movie (by the way I am european, as you can tell due my broken english) and they are forced to watch psychological rotten asian movie, they are forced to watch porn/torture horrors. Lamers.
Nowadays emo kids are unable to enjoy good classic looking horrors. It has to be some lame zombie movie or as gore as hell retarded psychological nonsenses.
Asian and zombie and comedie horrors are here on IMDb rated as high as possible, but good true horrors are rated ridicilous low. As example: Drive Thru 4.5; Zombieland 7.7. This is EPIC FAIL!
But on this list here I try to stay loyal to the good old classic looking horror. Teen Horrors.
And no, Im not a sheep so Im not telling that one movie is good just because it has good rate here on IMDb or that its bad just because its have low rate.

“ Drive Thru is an underrated teen horror. even though the low rating here on imdb this movie is a pure teen horror that keeps tradition of true teen horrors alive. It is modern classic. If you wonder which movie is true succesor of the old classic teen horros such as Prom Night, Nightmare on Elm Street. It is Drive Thru.This movie might not be as good as some big blockbusters bellow but its special in its own way. It stay true from the start to the end to the old classics.
Guilty from the past, supernatural killer, teens step together against it, final girl.
Main chracter is played by Leighton Meester, I see her as a queen of modern teen horrors. A new Jamie Lee Curtis... but much prettier. :) ” - hateless

“ Disturbia is true ten horror even though its not a classic looking like. Due it scenery and atmosphere you simply must love it. some people are linking this movie with the Hitchcocks Rear Window pretending to be horror experts.But there is almost none corelations between those two movies. Even though horror movie field is not comparative literature i will link it with another movie. I think that its more Eyes Of A Stranger like than Rear Window like. If I must compare this movie to the others. Saying original Disturbia is Rear Window is like saying original Scream is Psycho.
That on a side, this movie became classic as soon as it was released. Why? Mainly because the awesome atmosphere. A teenager in a house arrest during summer vacations. Funny and kind. A tribute to the beauty of motion picture. ” - hateless

“ Many people is saying that 90s were bad considering good horrors. This is quite untrue. After Cravens Scream and Gillespies I Know What You Did Last Summer came another teen horror classic called The Faculty. And whole three movies came from the writer Kevin Williamson. He indeed made 90s memorable for some awesome teen horrors.
Faculty was directed by Rodriguez an awesome and now overrated director who created a high school masterpiece. And all the big names on cast... blockbuster.

“ This might be a top slasher teen horror. Craven has created the pure classic. Not only because it includes Cravenish horror humor but because killer is not some ghostly creature or a mental pacient. A killer is one of us. Its radical opposite to all those movies that are more and more popular among viewers: Saw, Grudge, The Ring, Zombieland and the millions of other asian/zombie/hardcoregore cheap but succesful films.
Scream is special. It is manifestation of Cravens thoughts about pecaeful suburbia: "I think there is something about the American dream, the sort of Disneyesque dream, if you will, of the beautifully trimmed front lawn, the white picket fence, mom and dad and their happy children, God-fearing and doing good whenever they can, and the flip side of it, the kind of anger and the sense of outrage that comes from discovering that that's not the truth of the matter, that gives American horror films, in some ways, kind of an additional rage."
Even though at some moments it looks like that it becomes too commercial and pop, this movie will stay true only for its true followers and not for those who prefer asian nonsenses and zombielands. ” - hateless

But as soon as we take a closer look it appears that this movie is far away than most of so called "teen horrors" or "youth horrors". It has a good solid story with fresh approach. Horror infestated in this movie is not shallow or simply "ghostish" as in many asian-orientated movies. it is special. And all those who have overseen this movie are unlucky ones.

“ Totaly overseen movie. I dont know why it has such low rate here on this portal. Maybe because it wasnt directed by Craven or Carpenter. This is surely one of the best pure teen horrors and i easily compare it with Scream. Story is solid, scenery is good and it includes some good twists. If you are true teen horror fan, you shouldnt oversee this one. ” - hateless
