superior mystery thriller. Excellent acting with a standout performance from Tracy in the lead. Faultless direction 8/10

engaging oddball thriller with oddball characters. it moves at a fairly smart pace 6/10

Jacoby gives a moving performance. The last part will to qoute a well known cliche tug at your heartstrings. 6/10

Wonderful tribute to the Busbu Bereley and otherv early hollywood musicals. The songs are extremly good, as are the performances, by Twiggy, Gable, and Glenda Jackson. Full marks also the production design. it's all held together by Russell's masterful direction. 8 (fav)

after this rather unfunny effort, i think it's about time, the team stopped. there are some, but not many good laughs. most of the time, it's just pathetic sex jokes. Suzanne Danielle is okay.

Effective remake of the Cooper/Beery vehicle. Voight is excellent, and so is Schroeder. But Dunaway tries too hard to turn an unsympathetic role into a sympathetic one, and doesn't suceed. Fav

Comedy drama is well handled with many funny scenes. Some of which are a matter of taste. Lots of naughty language, and Jackson gives a pretty agressive embarrassing speech. Reed really camps it up as the headmaster.
