MOVIES AND RACISM

Definition of racism: 1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability, and that a particular race is superior to others./ 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Film has made a significant contribution in exposing this cancer in society, and thereby creating awareness to a very real and ongoing issue.

Listed below are a number of films which address racism and racial issues, from various angles, in whole or in part.
