My Cast of "The Stand"by jp-365 | created - 01 Oct 2011 | updated - 10 months ago | Public
I tried to cast get-able actors for this list. In other words this list is an attempt to cast people that you could actually see joining an ensemble cast like this. Some actors are too expensive or simply have no interest in performing in large ensemble projects such as this film... which is going to be done in three movies. As ever, I cast for talent, character & the appropriate look. Enjoy & feel free to cast your own film in the comment field.

For me Ms Blair has always been a sex kitten posing as a comedic actress. She is funny but her smoldering eyes cover something beneath the surface. This is needed for Dayna.

As Larry Underwood
I changed this from Russell Brand to a better musician and a much cooler and more charming performer. While I don't hate Brand he just wasn't right. I would love to hear Lenny's version of "Baby, You Got to Dig Your Man". Not sure if he would want to play a musician, he has been trying to stretch with his acting but given he just played one in Lee Daniels "Star", he may be into it as the character goes thru so much change.
