Meanwhile, all the other vampires will stand around and watch instead of joining the fight. And once the boss is dead, none of them will seek vengeance. Instead, they'll all go away forever.

And what was the point of trying to take over a city? We can't imagine how this was going to pay off. Of course they'd be hunted down once communication was restored. And nobody outside is going to notice that the entire town has been blacked out for a month?

And it would have been so much better to set this before cell phones. We were supposed to believe that everyone's cell phone was effectively stolen at the same time? By one mortal guy? Yeah.
