Painfully honest and frank, this story will stay with you long after the credits roll. It's rare to have the components that make a complete film combine in such a beautiful and powerful way. A true classic and rightly so, each time I leave with something new. 10/10

Based on true events and difficult to watch in places, with several violent and disturbing scenes. Detailed study of life at an elite private school in 1930s England, with gorgeous cinematography and wonderful interactions between Rupert Everett and Colin Firth. For me, the movie fails to fully explain the defection to Russia, but in other respects is excellent. 6/10

Set in the Bahamas, this expansion of the short movie Float is a slowly paced poetic love story with wonderful cinematography.
