King has written so many books each brilliant in their own right. However, not all of the movies have quite lived up to the novels in terms of plot. I mean sure, as if any ever will, but here are twenty of his movies, in order of how well they stand on their own without bugging the avid reader too much when watching.

Keep in mind, these are only adaptations of actual novels, not short stories/ novellas'
