My favorite films by year, from 1930 to present day, without regard to awards or critical acclaim, just my personal favorites. In three cases, 1943, 1963 and 2005, the "year" is counted for purposes of this list as the Oscar consideration year and may not coincide with the actual release date. Enjoy!
