A list that contains all the movies I've seen. Each movie will receive a rating accompanied by a short review in order to justify my decision. It will be updated as soon I see another movie or as soon as I find some time to write reviews to already seen movies. It is and it will be a work in progress. Please let me know what you think!

Along the way, he saves a girl called Evey who's about to change his perspective more than he manages to change hers. V for Vendetta features one of the best stories I've ever heard in my entire life. It's absolutely flawless throughout the whole movie creating and maintaining a high level of drama, tension but also passion. It's almost like a psychological thriller, revealing very small pieces of it's puzzle, one by one, letting you lust for more. Its special effects are awesome, its decor is great and its actors are top notch. The character V is simply breathtaking, combining a hidden body, a tough personality, a brilliant mind and some amazing skills. I simply adore this movie, it simply changed the way I see and understand movies, it marked me! You cannot miss it, it's a one of a kind masterpiece! ” - mad200647

Hiccup is an unusual member of a viking tribe. He's small, skinny and with no expertise in killing dragons. Humiliated and annoyed by everyone, overprotected by his father (the leader of the tribe), he plans to try to capture the only dragon which was so mysterious that nobody has ever seen it, The Night Fury. Unexpectedly, he captures it but then makes a very surprising discovery: dragons are not what was thought about them and they could be tamed with ease. Eventually Hiccup also finds that dragons were being terrorized by a gigantic six-eyed beast which demanded constant feeding in order not to kill everyone, so he sets up with his friends and against the will of the vikings to finish this monster once and for all. It is a superb movie featuring a memorable plot, breathtaking animations and great action. I can't find words to praise this movie. Everything about it is top-notch. Looks great, sounds fabulous, its story is one of a kind, it has them all! It made such an impression on myself that I can't think of anything better when taking about this kind of film. I absolutely loved the way Hiccup evolved from a looser to the pride of the tribe, appreciated and appraised by all. It's even better than Brave (which I adore)! As they spend more time together and understand each other's situation, their relation evolves, making the final part of their life more than bearable. As a final wish, he takes her to Amsterdam to visit the author of her favorite book but their adventure will not be without obstacles as illness never sleeps. The end to their story is as unexpected as it is tragic and sentimental, but in a good way. I cannot express the emotions I felt during this movie, every single word simply being insufficient in providing any explanation. It is very dramatic but at the same time it brings laughter when you least expect it and romance in its purest way. Two teens, deeply traumatized by their condition, find comfort in each other's arms, struggling every day not to loose faith in divinity and life while overcoming their fears. This movie can cause a lot of tears but it will also bring warmth in one's soul if he or she lets it. It's simply breath taking in every aspect, from its gorgeous story to its presentation, cast and finale. Make sure you don't miss this wonderful masterpiece! ” - mad200647

Merida is an unusual princess. She's not very well mannered, she's very stubborn, she's not even good at being a princess, but she's the best archer of all. When the time comes for her to choose a husband from the other three clans, a huge argument occurs between her and her mother which after some witchcraft, leads to the queen becoming a bear. Merida must change her difficult attitude, be brave and once again strengthen the bond between her and her mother before "all hell breaks loose". I don't know how to tell you how I feel about this movie. Its story is great, a lovely combination of action and drama, its animation is superb and its music is top notch. I couldn't believe how well all was put together. Every detail was taken care of and it really shows! Furthermore, its really really funny...and I mean it...really FUNNY! It's quite simply the best animation I've seen so far and it probably won't be beaten anytime soon. Enjoy! ” - mad200647

Kept well hidden until the coronation ball, Elsa's powers unleash in an act of fear and thus she runs away, hoping that this way, her sister and the whole kingdom will remain safe. Unfortunately, that night, the whole place froze so Anna, filled with courage and hope, sets off in search of her missing sister. A dangerous journey awaits but with some help from her new friends, she might manage to turn around this unhappy course of events. It's a wonderful story of a misunderstood princess and the very fact that made her special which ultimately led to an unfortunate situation for everybody. It's absolutely gorgeous, from the surroundings to the peak of frozen beauty, Elsa's character. It simply shines in visual effects which delights your sight with every single chance it gets. It's a great musical so yo can except a lot of scenes in which visuals and audio combine in mesmerizing scenery. Its characters are really well defined, with unique traits, participating almost flawlessly into all the action, humor and drama. It's a complete movie in my opinion, an animation landmark! ” - mad200647

After his uncle dies, Norman is warned that the witch's curse will take part if he doesn't read from a special book at the graveyard before the sun set. Because he fails, Norman must team up with whoever he can to stop the curse once and for all. It features an interesting story centered on Norman and his ability to communicate with ghosts. We are able to watch him overcome his fears, making friends and uncover a dark secret which was haunting his town for 200 years. Although it's a sober horror story it manages quite often to be extremely hilarious. I really wasn't expecting this movie to be so entertaining as it was, it really took me by surprise. Together with and old friend and a new partner of his (who happens to be the most famous thief known), he must find the magic beans, travel to Giant's Castle and "retrieve" the golden goose, this way regaining his lost honor. What you're about to see is an epic adventure, filled with high quality action, romance, special effects and above all, lots and lots of fun. Although I was expecting a funny movie, it amazed me how well put together are all of its sequences. It's great story, told in a very pleasant manner kept me thrilled and entertained throughout the whole movie. It's a superb animation that I recommend with all my heart. Meanwhile, a pretender to Belle's hand, is determined to do any mischievous act in order to reach his goal. It's a classic and beautiful Disney story, beautifully told and drawn, which sends a lot of emotion, drama and love. It features a very good story which is presented through a series of musical moments which tend to give you goosebumps with every act. It's been one of my favorites since childhood and will continue to stay in my heart for a very long time. An animation masterpiece and a must see for everyone! ” - mad200647

Due to his difficult personality and the fact that his past was a complete mystery to him, Jack is not going to be easily convinced to take the job, unless something or someone really bad is going to show up. It's an interesting story in which very popular characters are shown somewhat different from their well known aspects and the fact that they are all guardians (literally fighting to keep the children of the world safe from any danger which might occur) makes it even cooler. The story of Jack Frost and how he becomes famous is really well put together in this movie, managing to be very funny at times, sober when it's needed and very entertaining overall. It looks absolutely gorgeous in every scene it depicts making it a real pleasure for your eyes. Although I had my reservations about this one, it really proved me wrong! With the help of a very unexpected person, which kidnaps him in the beginning, he must lead his people and his dragon, once again, to restore the much needed peace. This is the sequel to the best animation ever created (in my opinion of course) which, frankly, I was expecting it to be as Cars 2, an utter failure without any doubt. To my surprise, it had nothing to do with it and it proved me wrong once again, shouting loud and clear that you can create a masterpiece in any circumstance if you really want to, and of course, have the power to do it. Visually speaking, it is simply astounding, enchanting your eyes with every scenery. Combined with the same funny, well shaped and much better animated characters, it manages to create a superb atmosphere which can be hardly described using mere words. The creators achieved something wonderful with this film, creating an emotional and satisfying story which features interesting and entertaining events after the first one's finale. It is a brilliant movie with a good plot and a funny way of presenting its events. It has plot turnovers, it has funny and enjoyable characters, basically everything you need from an animation to be brilliant, but the whole show is stolen by the inflatable robot with its unique style and pleasure inducing actions. It's a superb animation which presents a beautiful, interesting and suspenseful life story which ultimately ends with style besides all problems the main characters have to face. It's beautifully animated, it has everything you can want from a movie, drama, suspense, romance and action while keeping your attention and interest all the time. By telling the story of the two cute robots, which is without any doubt very emotional and catchy, it draws the viewer into its world, making him care about the main characters and willing or unwillingly, about the fate of future humans who were inevitably involved into human-like vegetables. It's a mind boggling experience which I found simply amazing, no matter the point of view. I was astonished by its complexity and visual effects, let alone its wow inducing facts regarding time and the universe. Its story slowly evolves, going into uncharted territory to my delight, ending after nearly three unnoticed hours with style. Although apparently lengthy, it manages to create a superb cosmic atmosphere, filled with mystery, suspense and tension, boredom being something out of the question. It's simply an astonishing piece of cinematography, thanks to its cast, story and visual effects. The fact that it didn't won much more academy awards simply puzzles me. ” - mad200647

It is a brilliant story taking place simultaneously over a large period of time, in which mutants expose their greatest powers and work together for a common cause. It looks spectacular and it creates a wonderful atmosphere, full of tension, suspense, action and destruction. It is hard to express through words the feeling that this movie game me and thus, I have to admit that it is indeed one of the best sci-fi movies I have seen so far, even better than First Class. Although having quite an ordinary premise for a superhero movie (an old superpower which rises after a very long time to bring apocalypse) this one manages to stay in row with the previous X-Men instalments and deliver a solid plot with great action accompanied by amazing CGI. It has drama, suspense, thrill and joy, all in the same picture which keeps you glued to the screen until the finale. Although starting a bit slow, it gradually builds up tension until the big confrontation which is simply spectacular. I enjoyed it very much. It is another success from this beloved franchise and I truly hope that the upcoming ones will be at least as good. ” - mad200647

Amelie is a very odd French citizen, who's childhood wasn't quite happy, as the narrator presented. She has a very interesting behaviour (due to her lonely type). Instead of telling people what she thinks, she interferes with their lives, putting them in various situations, which will make them change their attitude, mood or even mentality. Soon after she starts helping people in this way, she encounters a wierd person, just like herself, with whom she falls in love. The only problem is that she hasn't got the courage to meet him and tell him what she thinks. So she devises a sort of detective game, which hopefully will be played by her lover. It's a superb story, I can't explain in words how this movie made me feel. I was puzzled, confused, intrigued and entertained at the same time. Very weird indeed! It also made me laugh very much, something I wasn't expecting from this film. Its marvelous story, combined with a French atmosphere create a movie you'll hardly forget! I didn't have high expectations regarding this film but I was completely blown away by what it has to offer. The main actors do a really good job with their teamwork while the races and police chases, unaffected by music, just ear nursing engine noise for petrolheads, create a great atmosphere to enjoy. It also has a pretty decent plot which manages to link all the pieces and create this great movie based on the most popular car gaming franchise. Phil is a self centered person, selfish and spoiled, who presents the weather for a local TV station. In addition, he happens to hate Groundhog day, considering it stupid and a complete waste of time. Thus, when he's assigned to broadcast live from the big event, for the fourth consecutive year, he isn't as excited as his new producer would have hoped. There, hoping to be over as soon as possible, Phil enters a loop he cannot escape. He is forced to live the same day over and over again. Although he took it as a curse, he slowly started to enjoy being some sort of god, making whatever he wanted, and not caring about health or death. Not everything was unfortunately as bright as it seemed, getting his hands on the woman he felt for proving to be much harder than expected. It's a very funny movie from every perspective, which is determined, thanks to it's main actor, to do anything to make you have a great time. He soon discovers that he has an impressive history as a spy and some amazing combat skills which he'll have to use in order to help whichever side he decides to join. It's an impressive remake of "Total Recall" from 1990 which featured Arnold Schwarzenegger as main character. I'm delighted to see a classic movie (at least for me) remade using today's technology and actors especially when the results are as good as this film. The actors were surprisingly enjoyable, especially the female antagonist who seems to put quite an effort in her acting and it shows. The whole mind bending plot is on par with the above mentioned, making your confused mind wonder over and over again about which is the truth. My expectations were beaten so I have to admit once again that I was wrong for judging a book by its cover, this movie proving to be one hell of a ride! ” - mad200647
