A homicide detective discovers he is a descendant of hunters who fight supernatural forces. (45 mins.)
“ Another modern fairy tale series that I tried really hard to like. The guy is a police detective who finds our he's a Grimm and he can see fairy people through their glamor for what they really are... and that's mainly monsters or killers. There's a lot of sci-fi/fantasy crime drama out there to choose from, but I hope it gets more interesting as the series progresses. ” - lonevision

“ The premise is good, actually. What I didn't like was it was far too PG. I like my TV series with a little more grit and drama. Too much Disney matte effect. Too much focus on the annoying, unruly teenagers and the little girl who's about as interesting as paint drying. ” - lonevision

“ One of the most creative, afternoon cartoon drama-series ever created. The plot, the entire story, is still awesome. Unbelievably, it was given the greenlight by Disney, despite its darker tones. I watched this back when I was 12-13... then they cancelled it. Disney was slightly redeemed, though, when they released the show on DVD. I have both collections. ” - lonevision

A TV show I wish I'd had it as a girl, Kim Possible is funny and entertaining, with writers and producers who cared about giving the audience a decent story to watch, every episode. ” - lonevision

“ Another show I wish I'd had as a girl, Jane is an optimistic medieval knight-in-training... and Dragon is her Dragon, believed to be the last of his kind. It sadly only had one season, though some countries list it as two by halving the first. It's a gentle, sweet show and good for younger kids to watch... besides adults like me. :) The only grief I have with the series is that the production company never released the entire series on DVD. ” - lonevision

“ Unspeakably deserving of its gigantic fanbase, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a brilliant show. The entire creative department, especially the creators/producers/writers, cared about the story, the characters, the plot, and even the villians in order to present a cartoon show that they themselves wanted to watch. While the live-action movie is something left to be desired, the series reigns on in all its brilliance. ” - lonevision

“ Because I'm a G1 ONLY fan, and PRIOR to the introduction of Hot Rod and that silly pink and white RC, and ALSO prior to the death of Optimus Prime in the movie. “ Back when I was 14, there was a 1 hour early-morning block of cartoons on my local cable channel... Dragon Ball Z was one of them (Sailor Moon was the other). Despite the fact that the characters would just stand in place and yell and gripe at each other without a lick of fighting for an entire episode, it still made it a fantastic watch. ” - lonevision

The Maxx, Beavis and Butthead, Daria... Boy, do I miss MTV when it was on acid. ” - lonevision

The Dark Knight battles crime in Gotham City with occasional help from Robin and Batgirl. (23 mins.)
“ THIS is a Batman animated tv show. THE Batman animated series to end all series. It was dark and gritty, and probably the reason Disney tried to compete with Fox's afternoon lineup with Gargoyles. Thanks to this show, the Joker's psychopathic girlfriend Harley was introduced, becoming a fan favorite and subsequently introduced as cannon in the comic book. ” - lonevision
