These are some of the movies I have no interest in watching and that do not appeal to me.
This is unless I'm forced to watch or end up watching any of them.
I'll cross out any ones that I do end up watching.
A chronicle of the lives of several teenagers who attend a New York high school for students gifted in the performing arts. (134 mins.)
“ I remember dancing to the theme tune that was written for the film as part of a Performing Arts course I studied at A-Level. Since then, the song has been over used in other experiences and even then, I didn’t mean I would watch the movie. Even the fact that the guy who directed the Commitments directed this one is not the problem. Synopsis; Performing Arts students auditioning for some school play. I’ve already seen it in A Chorus Line! Fame was described as a ‘musical’, but I doubt there will be enough songs in it to make it a musical. All I ever heard is Fame. ” - johnno74
The Breakfast Club
Five high school students meet in Saturday detention and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought. (97 mins.)
“ From a comedy perspective, I’d laugh at certain comedies. As a viewer, I’d just admire certain ones. But The Breakfast Club neither looks funny, nor interesting. For starters, it’s a teen comedy drama and I have never been a fan of teen dramas. Second of all, it’s about a group of students spending what Hughes exaggerates, a full day in detention (I would have thought only a few hours after school). Linking to that and by looking at the images provided, the synopsis sounds too predictable; I mean you know there will be no real story and the film will be wasted with nothing but dreadful gossips, drug abuse and too much bitching about certain things like in all teen dramas. ” - johnno74

“ Similar reason to Notting Hill ” - johnno74
The Jungle Book 2
Mowgli, missing the jungle and his old friends, runs away from the man village unaware of the danger he's in by going back to the wild. (72 mins.)
“ I’ve always loved the first one, the synopsis, the characters and the ultra cool songs, as BA from the A-Team might say, I’ve been on the jazz man. Personally I see the Disney version as the best adaption of Rudyard Kipling’s novel I’ve ever seen. Now the sequel I remember hearing about when I was 13. I don’t think a sequel was the best idea. If there were songs included, I doubt they would outsmart the more powerful ones from the first one i.e. Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You. The thought of John Goodman voicing Baloo sounds interesting, so I don’t mean to sound nasty, but whoever voices Baloo could never replace Phil Harris. ” - johnno74
A documentary filmmaker travels to Jellystone Park to shoot a project and soon crosses paths with Yogi Bear, his sidekick Boo-Boo, and Ranger Smith. (80 mins.)
“ I watched the movie adaptions to Garfield and Scooby Doo. Both had terrible special effects to animate the animals (why not use a real ginger cat/great dane?). Come on, that's just plain laziness.
I watched the trailer to Yogi Bear and it has the same effects.
I loved the cartoons, but it doesn't mean I'm watching the film, alright? ” - johnno74

“ When the movie first came out, I wanted to see it, because I was a huge fan of the cartoon. Nostalgic reasons.
But I didn't get to see it. Now I think thank god. It looks like the producers have used effects as revolting as the movie adaptions to Scooby Doo, Garfield & Yogi Bear. ” - johnno74

Winnie the Pooh
While searching for honey, Pooh and his friends embark on an adventure to find Eeyore's missing tail and rescue Christopher Robin from an unknown monster called, The Backson. (63 mins.)
“ First of all, it's the title. I don't really like the term 'Poo'. It's too close to Winnie The S**t and may set a bad example to children, which is why I don't intend to show any film adaptions to my children.
Also I remember reading the book and I think I may have seen a film adaption. The story doesn't really make sense. I don't seem to get how all the characters relate to each other, how a tiger (Asian) and kangaroo (Australian) collaborate and why one of them is a human. It sounds ridiculous! ” - johnno74
“ I've seen the first one. It sucked!
It's predictable that the sequel will look the same ” - johnno74

That is unless they take all the songs out. ” - johnno74
