Some of my favorite Tennant episodes are "The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit" and "Blink."

So, despite the charisma of David Tennant, I've come to view Matt Smith as his equal. Stephen Moffat took over as show-runner after Russell Davies left with Tennant. Seasons 5-6 my favorites. Seasons 7-8 were subpar, but so far in season 9, Capaldi has very much gotten the show's groove back as he's come into his own Doctor.
