Manhua (Chinese Comics) Adaptations

by dean11mck | created - 19 Aug 2011 | updated - 12 Jul 2016 | Public

These live-action feature films and TV series are based upon Manhua, Chinese comic books original produced in China. Possibly due to their greater degree of artistic freedom of expression and closer international ties with Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan have been the places of publication of most manhua thus far, often including Chinese translations of Japanese manga.
