“ I am still more a fan of 2D when it comes to Disney than of 3D animated, but the movie does look good. Ofcourse, the moral lesson is included. Some of the caracters could come out more, and to many female elves makes this a movie that seems to be a bit to girly. Not to mention the gay-ish minister of spring.... But I would recommend it for sure. ” - hansbearnl

Remakes are ok sometimes, but in almost all cases just like with this one: there is no one who screams like Fray.... and no one yet has come up with a better remake than the original ” - hansbearnl

“ COmpared to his other movies, this one with Karloff is not a real favorite of mine. Simply cause it is all so slow and gives Karloff such a boring dialogue. However, the burial scene is one which is amazing, especially concidered the year the movie was made. ” - hansbearnl
