So Dead or Alive is my all time favorite video game. That movie was an abomination as you probably know already. So I was thinking it would be awesome to have an awesome reboot(Mortal Kombat: Rebirth style)

1. Byung-hun Lee

Actor | Dalkomhan insaeng

Byung-hun Lee was born in 1970 in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in a wealthy family, thanks to his father, who was a successful businessman. He never dreamed of pursuing acting until a friend of his mother's suggested it. He auditioned for the KBS television network in 1991 and was accepted. His ...

Hayate: His performance as Storm Shadow sold me that he could be Hayate.. A shinobi as fast as the winds of heaven.. I think that's how it goes. Bottom line is, Hayate is suppose to be(Potentially/Arguably) the greatest fighter in DOA. Byung-Lee definitely rises to the challenge

2. Rick Yune

Actor | Die Another Day

Rick Yune was born on August 22, 1971 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA as Richard Yun. He is an actor and producer, known for Die Another Day (2002), Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and The Fast and the Furious (2001).

Hayabusa: The wise and deadly fighter fresh off of Ninja Gaiden. IMO perfect rival to Byung. His role as Rain's rival in "Ninja Assassin" sold me. Rick is a great candidate for the mysterious hero.

3. Kelly Hu

Actress | The Scorpion King

On February 13th, 1968, a girl of Chinese, English, and Hawaiian ancestry was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her father, Herbert, was a salesman and her mother, Juanita, worked many odd jobs to help support the family. She has one older brother, Glenn. She is a former Miss Teen USA, and modeled in Japan...

Kasumi: Just seeing her whoop Hugh Jackman's a$$ in X2 made me think of those video game cinema's where I had to watch my character get knocked around by another. Kelly Hu as Kasumi just feels right. Looks moves, she's got it all.

4. JeeJa Yanin

Actress | Chocolate

Yanin "Jeeja" pronounced "ChiCha" Vismitananda was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother is Prasita Vismitananda and her father, Pawadol Borirak, was a businessman who died when his daughter was 17, she has an older brother, Nantapong "Jeed" Vismitananda. Ayane: Finding anyone to fit the role of someone who can move and switch stances as fast as Ayane is hard enough. Finding a woman anywhere near her age is even harder. If you don't know who she is.. Youtube: CHOCOLATE, Jeeja Yanine

5. Scott Adkins

Actor | Doctor Strange

Scott Edward Adkins was born on June 17, 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, England, into a family that for generations were butchers. Zack: Not the green goatee negative stereotype Zack either. Still the same level of awesome and style as the Zack we know, just not as insulting. Mykel has shown in "Undisputed III" that he has the look, skill and presence to match the eccentric and brutal Zack. Perhaps with some Muay Thia training(if he doesn't already have it) He's not only hilarious but he is a force to reckoned with in the ring... I can't think of a better choice.

7. Tony Jaa

Actor | Ong-bak 3

Japanom Yeerum was born on February 5, 1976, in the northeastern province of Surin, Thailand. His parents were elephant herders. Jaa watched martial arts films as a young kid and began to emulate some of his idols, from Bruce Lee to Jackie Chan to Jet Li. Jaa studied martial arts at the local ...

Brad Wong: I know, odd choice. But he had an extraordinary "Drunken Fight Scene" in Ong Bak 2. I think he could bring new life into Brad Wong and his drunken style.. But I dream.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khtERQgOjWg

Not exactly the Drunken Fist but you can imagine.

8. Katheryn Winnick

Actress | Vikings

Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick stars in the critically acclaimed, Emmy award-winning television series Vikings (2013). produced by MGM and The History Channel. Entertainment Weekly declared that her role as "Lagertha" may be the most exciting feminist character on TV." Her portrayal of the ...

Christie: Katheryn's mixture of Beauty and Martial Arts makes her a prime candidate to be Christie. I can definitely see her a s the cold, ruthless assassin.

9. Heather Morris

Actress | Glee

Heather Morris was born on February 1, 1987 in Thousand Oaks, California, USA as Heather Elizabeth Morris. She is an actress, known for Glee (2009), Glee: The 3D Concert Movie (2011) and Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012). She has been married to Taylor Hubbell since May 16, 2015. They have two ...

Helena: Before you tear my head off let me just say these movies are about breathing life into characters based on martial arts foundations. SHe may not be a martial artist but she IS an athlete.Helena's Pi Qua Quan fighting style is like a dance. Heather is a brilliant dancer and like Tony Jaa, She can breath her own unique life into Helena's character. DOA made her some rich chick who wants revenge for her mom's murder. Could be her break out movie role. I'm a Gleek.. Sorry.

10. Johnny Nguyen

Actor | Tom yum goong

Johnny left Vietnam at the age of 8, uncertain of what destination lied ahead. As a boy, he already loved Hong Kong cinema. Johnny would soon start training in martial arts and now has over 18 years of experience in Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Japanese Aikido. Johnny is now also an expert in Wushu, which ...

Jann Lee: How could you miss his performance in the Tom Yum Goong(The Protector) Rivaling Tony Jaa ain't easy. It shouldn't be hard for a fighter like him to mimic Jeet Kune Do. I think he has the look, presence AND skills to personify Jann Lee.

11. Ziyi Zhang

Ziyi Zhang is a Chinese actress and model. She is best known for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Rush Hour 2 (2001), Hero (2002), House of Flying Daggers (2004), and Memoirs of a Geisha (2005).

For her work in Memoirs of a Geisha she was...

Lei Fang: I thought she would be the perfect Lei Fang since I saw her in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Her night battle with Michelle Yeoh was amazing. She has shown unbelievable Martial Arts prowess in every role she's been in. Know one is a better choice for the genius of Tai Chi Quan.

12. Nathan Jones

Actor | Mad Max: Fury Road

Nathan Jones rose upon the world strongman scene in 1995 and showed promise to become perhaps the top competitor in the world. At 6' 11" and 360 lbs., the giant Australian known as Megaman was an imposing sight and used his great size and strength to place high in the World Musclepower ...

She is best-known for her role in White Chicks (2004) as Denise Porter; her role in Left 4 Dead 2 (...

Lisa: I'm gonna level with you. Rochelle is my favorite actress and a goddess in my opinion. I love her in everything she's ever done and I think with a big role she could really show her talents. I believe with some capoeira training and a complete revamp of the character Lisa, Rochelle could pull off an unbelievable performance. Instead of a DOA tech experiment gone masked wrestler(Stupid idea) maybe she's more of a Kadaj from Final Fantasy: Advent Children type. A dark, manipulative character waging her own private war against DOA Tech.
