Actress, advocate, philanthropist, and producer Torrey Joël DeVitto is best known for her incredible six season run on the NBC drama, "Chicago Med" playing Natalie Manning, the 'girl next door' and a doctor in the ER Pediatrics division. Outside of her acting work, Torrey's mission is to grant access and bring knowledge of wellness and philanthropy to as many people as possible.
Born and raised in Huntington, New York, to Mary & Liberty DeVitto, Torrey was surrounded by the entertainment industry from the moment she was born. For 28 years, her father played the drums for Billy Joel and she spent most of her early years traveling on the road with her parents. By the time Torrey could walk, her heart was in the music and acting world. She began violin lessons at age six and was in the 4th grade when she had already earned her place as the 4th chair violinist in a New York high school orchestra. Ashley Platz never shied away from competition, a high school track star on the rise, she found her passion shift when her theater arts teacher began secretly entering her into acting competitions. This shift led them to Pace University in New York City where she studied acting and began finding work in commercials, theater, and film. The festival success of one such film inspired Ashley to make the move to Los Angeles to devote herself to the competitive pursuit of an acting career. Miranda Frigon is a Canadian Actress and Singer-Songwriter. Born in Edmonton, Alberta she began her acting career at the age of eight, appearing in numerous television commercials. Her childhood and adolescence revolved around competitive gymnastics, ballet and classical piano so performing was a huge part of her life from an early age. She traveled and competed across Canada with her gymnastics team all the while training professionally as a dancer. She then went on to dance in a ballet company for several years before joining and touring with a more diverse company that included more various styles of dance. She then attended the University of Alberta where she studied Theater and Psychology in addition to competing on the varsity gymnastics team. Shortly after, Miranda received a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City where she trained in musical theater before landing her first recurring television role on the Disney series "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids." This brought her back to Canada to where she began working and building her film, television and music career. After moving and settling into Vancouver, B.C. she immediately began booking numerous guest stars on hit network U.S. shows such as "The 4400", "Higher Ground", "The Chris Isaak Show", "John Doe" "True Calling" and "The Dead Zone" to name a few. Sofya was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia. She studied ballet at age 9 while attending the elite Vaganova Ballet Academy. From ages 10-12, Sofya studied modern dance then returned to classical ballet from ages 13-16. At 17, Sofya became a professional ballerina where she was discovered by talent agents. Alexia Fast has made a mark on the North American film and television industry throughout her career spanning from child actor to adult. A graduate of New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Clare earned her BFA in just three years.
While in New York, Clare appeared in numerous stage plays including one turn as Helen Keller in the stage version of "The Miracle Worker", the lead role in "Light Up the Sky" at the acclaimed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, "Beyond Therapy" at the John Houseman Theater, and "Beginnings" at Circle in the Square. Cassie Jaye was born at the Fort Sill United States Army post in Oklahoma, but spent most of her childhood in Brier, Washington. When Jaye was 8 years old she began acting in the Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle. When she was 15 years old she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she took film acting classes before deciding to move to Los Angeles when she turned 18. Between 2004-2008 she acted in numerous independent films and commercials in L.A., but during the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike, Jaye decided to go behind the camera to direct and produce documentaries. Allison was raised 20 miles south of Lake Erie, in the small rural farming town of Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
At the age of 14, Allison was discovered in a doctor's office by a model scout/agent. She started modeling in Toronto and spent subsequent summers in Manhattan. Born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beach suburb of Cronulla. In March 2011, Sharni had auditioned for the low budget, indie horror film, titled "YOU'RE NEXT", which for months had been unable to cast its lead female actress. It was during her audition that director Adam Wingard (Godzilla v Kong) became convinced he had finally found his lead girl. He asked writer, Simon Barrett to re-create the role of 'Erin' to suit the actresses' native Australian background and the result was history in the making. Whitney Able's acting career started with a role in the low-budget film Age of Kali in 2005. In 2006, Whitney then portrayed Eve in the film Dead Lenny which was released direct-to-DVD. Sasha Alexander began acting by the time she was in the seventh grade when she found herself cast as the lead female in her school's production of "Baby". Judy Greer was born and raised outside of Detroit, Michigan, as Judith Therese Evans. Kat Dennings was born Katherine Victoria Litwack in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, to Ellen (Schatz), a speech therapist and poet, and Gerald Litwack, a molecular pharmacologist.
