“ In my eyes one of the most over rated films in the history of film making. Quite simply I would rather have read a book about Schindler that sit through this pretentious re-enactment. Liam Neeson managed to retain his Irish accent throughout and over acted for much of the film. There are better films about the Holocaust. That is to say this is not the worst and if anything one must say that this film brought increased attention to the horrors of the Holocaust. ” - bradderz16

The story is astonishingly predictable, the characters are unbearably annoying, particularly the role played by Freida Pinto who failed to seem at all likeable. The Torture scenes were deeply unnecessary, there perhaps to intensify the drama. The lacked any originality also, the rags to riches, hero gets the girl story is heartwarming but in my eyes not exceptional. ” - bradderz16

I understand that the true conditions of a concentration camp cannot be displayed on a film aimed at children, but the Holocaust is not something that children should be exposed to. I deeply despise the ending which seems to trick the audience into bearing sympathy for the German boy and his family. Yes its sad that he died, however i hate how the holocaust was manipulated in order to create this emotional response. Read the book please! This film is dreadful! ” - bradderz16
