If "After Dark" by Haruki Murakami were ever to be made into a movie

This is one of my favorite novels and while it's not likely it'll be made into a movie someday, I can always dream . . .

And yes, I know Dot Jones isn't Asian but she fits the part of Kaoru so well that I can't see anyone else in that role.
