This is the best sci-fi I've seen for years. It harks back to 70's sci-fi where it was about the big ideas not the special effects. Everything is masterfully executed and from a first time director in Duncan Jones. Sam Rockwell manages brilliantly to hold your attention and interest as virtually the only actor on screen for the entire movie.
How this missed any acknowledgement at the Oscars I'll never understand.
