Actress | Good Times

BernNadette Stanis is best known as Thelma from Good Times (1974), but there's much more to her than that. In the 1970s she was the personification of black beauty. I been watching the Ozzie and Harriet Show on occassion lately on ACME Classics TV and I began admiring Harriet because she pertrayed a house wife in such a good, positive way, unlike Norman Lear's liberal pertral of a housewive on "All In the Family"! Harriet Nelson seemed more intelligent, had more attitude, was more fit and, to me, looked more attractive than Edith Bunker! At the same time, Harriet was just as much of a lady too!
