Not Rated | 67 min | Horror
A fallen foot tall Homunculus called Marvin (a part human/part reptile creature) is imprisoned in a birdcage by a vengeful lover who is bidding to become the world's most powerful vampire.
My only complaint with this is that it was far too short at 67 minutes, other than that i loved this low budget vampire flick. The sequel was pretty decent as well, awesome original score
4. Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare (1987)
R | 83 min | Horror, Music
At a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, a hopeful hair-metal band seeking inspiration to record their upcoming new LP will soon find themselves in a furious confrontation against the Prince of Darkness himself.

One of the sons of Frankenstein finds his father's monster in a coma and revives him, only to find out he is controlled by Ygor who is bent on revenge.
Probably my favorite of the original Boris Karloff Frankenstein movies, something about the performance of Bela Lugosi's Igor was unreal. Didn't really like any of the numerous Frankenstein sequels which didn't feature Karloff as the monster
19. Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
G | 79 min | Horror
A strange prehistoric beast lurks in the depths of the Amazonian jungle. A group of scientists try to capture the animal and bring it back to civilization for study.
Votes: 20,461 | Gross: $1.30M
Probably my favorite and indeed the last great Universal Monster movies, ive always loved movies set in the jungle or the amazon and something about the creature *beep* terrified me when i was a kid. The sequel called Revenge of the Creature made in 1955 whilst not having the same kind of darkness the first had is still very solid for a 1950's monster movie. Features none other than Clint Eastwood in a small uncredited part. Was not a big fan of the third installment called The Creature Walks among us, just thought it was was really lackluster and boring
20. Albino Farm (2009)

24. Combat Shock (1984)
R | 91 min | Drama, Horror, Thriller
A dangerously disturbed Vietnam veteran struggles with life 15 years after his return home, and slowly falls into insanity from his gritty urban lifestyle.
Very serious release from Troma, extremely depressing but an excellent portrayal of life for a US soldier when he comes back from Vietnam
25. The Toxic Avenger (1984)
R | 82 min | Action, Comedy, Horror
Tromaville has a monstrous new hero. The Toxic Avenger is born when meek mop boy Melvin falls into a vat of toxic waste. Now evildoers will have a lot to lose.
The Toxic Avenger is Troma's most popular film and it is great it must be said. Has everything you would expect from Troma, bad acting cheesy dialogue and in completely bad taste. In The Toxic Avenger 2 we see our favourite superhero go to Japan so cue hilarious moments with the Japanese people. Not as good as the first but tremendous fun all the same. The third installment entitled Last Temptation of Toxie is definitely the weakest of the franchise but still very fun at the same time, starts off well but trails a little towards the end, features one of the coolest on screen devils i've ever seen, and a very good scene where we see Toxie melt and disintegrate. Citizen Toxie the fourth part of the series is my favourite, the whole film is absolutely ridiculous, over the top in every way possible and very very funny

32. Body Bags (1993 TV Movie)
R | 91 min | Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi
Three short stories in the horror genre. The first about a serial killer. The second about a hair transplant gone wrong. The third about a baseball player.
Anthology style horror directed by two horror icons, the one and only John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper, All 3 stories are solid, the weakest though is probably the first "gas station" segment by Carpenter. Tobe Hooper's final story "Eye" is excellent
33. I Spit on Your Grave (1978)

41. Inferno (1980)
R | 107 min | Horror
An American college student in Rome and his sister in New York investigate a series of killings in both locations where their resident addresses are the domain of two covens of witches.
Set up as a kind of sequel to the popular Suspiria, not quite as good but the potential was definitely there, i think if there had of been a bit more development on the characters and the story it could have been one of Argento's best if not his best, also the scene where the librarian falls in the water and is eaten by rats, i can only think what Lucio Fulci could have done with the part haha
42. Deep Red (1975)
R | 126 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller
After witnessing the murder of a famous psychic, a musician teams up with a feisty reporter to find the killer while evading attempts on their lives by the unseen assailant bent on keeping a dark secret buried.

Although far too over hyped in my opinion, this is still a really good slasher film. Actually really funny at parts as well with great cameos from Robert Englund and Tony Todd, Part 2 is much better in my opinion, funnier gorier and more Tony Todd which is never a bad thing. For the third film in the franchise Adam Green steps away from the director's chair and gives his blessing to BJ McDonnell to continue it for him. He does a pretty damn good job in my opinion, whilst not quite as good as the first two it still manages to keep the charm and is definitely a ridiculously entertaining watch. It starts off where the second one left off with Danielle Harris blowing Victor Crowley's head off. Crowley however, isn't dead. They have another altercation and Harris manages to escape with his scalp. She then makes her way to the local police station covered in blood with a shotgun in one hand and Crowley's scalp in the other. Naturally, the police are suspicious and blame Harris for all the murders in the previous two films. They go to investigate and find out Crowley is more than just an urban myth. Danielle Harris is delightful as always. There's also a few nice additions to the cast including Zach Galligan of Gremlins fame playing the local Sheriff. Star of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Caroline Williams plays the ex wife of Galligan and a snoopy reporter. There's also an extremely funny cameo by Sid Haig playing a racist family member of Crowleys. As with any Hatchet movie the gore and special effects are the highlight sporting some of the coolest death scenes you're likely to see
