Great movies that weren't celebrated

by alanpt | created - 14 Mar 2011 | updated - 24 Mar 2011 | Public

These aren't necessarily masterpieces but they are undervalued. Most of them I came across accidentally. They fit uncomfortably between cult, art-house and forgotten classic. You won't see anything from "1001 Movies to see before you die" or anything from the top 100 movies on IMDB let alone Best Cult movie lists or the Academy Award winners.

No particular order.
