Serie addict or worse, beyond hope :P part IIby clairepeek | created - 04 Nov 2010 | updated - 05 Nov 2010 | Public
It is very possible that I forgot some series... between crime (eh, not litteraly thanks) and sci-fi... I love the storytelling and like when it goes on forever... it is so less ugly than reality!

1. NCIS (2003– )
TV-14 | 60 min | Action, Comedy, Crime
The cases of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service's Washington DC Major Case Response Team, led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
Ducky and Abby are my absolute favourites ^_^ This series is never dull, and when it is (yeah I know, contradiction here) it is hilariously dull and entertaining. Joke apart, the cast is delivering every single time and it is real fun to get to know them and their quirks! I never miss an episode :P Gibbs rules though ^_^
2. The X-Files (1993– )
TV-14 | 45 min | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
Two FBI agents, Fox Mulder the believer and Dana Scully the skeptic, investigate the strange and unexplained, while hidden forces work to impede their efforts.
Who needs to be introduced? They got me interested in sci-fi so... amen!
3. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–2015)
TV-14 | 60 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
An elite team of police forensic evidence investigation experts work their cases in Las Vegas.
I miss Grissom! Laurence Fishburg is excellent but I miss somewhat the tightness and oddness that William Petersen's character brought to the series. I still like it a lot though...
4. ReGenesis (2004–2008)
49 min | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
Geneticist David Sandstrom is the chief scientist at the prestigious virology/micro-biology NORBAC laboratory, a joint enterprise between the USA, Canada and Mexico for countering bio-terrorism.
Gosh that is a freeky spooky sci-fi series... where sci-fi is pushing only a nudge real science towards sci-fi - at least, it is how it seemed to me. Very bizarre but I loved it.
5. Stargate SG-1 (1997–2007)
TV-14 | 44 min | Action, Adventure, Drama
A secret military team, SG-1, is formed to explore the recently discovered Stargates.
Always have great fun watching this, I can't explain why but I just do ^_^
6. Dark Angel (2000–2002)
TV-14 | 60 min | Action, Drama, Mystery
A group of genetically-enhanced children escape from a lab project. Years later we meet Max, one of the escapees who now works for a messenger service in the post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest.
Really dark series that I would have love to see continue!
7. CSI: NY (2004–2013)
TV-14 | 43 min | Action, Crime, Drama
CSI Head Detective Mac Taylor and his team solve crimes in New York City.
Very predictable in the first season, this series became better and better, no doubt for every participation of the cast in the production of episodes (and mainly Gary Sinise). Here too, I miss one of the main characters Stella (Melina Kanakaredes) who I suppose is replaced by a new character Jo Danville (Sela Ward)... I do enjoy the series still, but I am actually loosing interest now and then...
8. Stargate: Atlantis (2004–2009)
TV-PG | 44 min | Action, Adventure, Drama
An international team of scientists and military personnel discover a Stargate network in the Pegasus Galaxy and come face-to-face with a new, powerful enemy, The Wraith.
I really had to watch this one as I knew SG-1 was close to the end... and I liked it.
9. Millennium (I) (1996–1999)
45 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
A former FBI profiler with the ability to look inside the mind of a killer begins working for the mysterious Millennium Group whose interest lies in cases involving doomsday cults and killers obsessed with the end of the millennium.
Some kind of parallel sequel to X-files... or not, well they are linked through the main character anyway! A weird one that lost its drive in the third and last season. Too bad!
10. Supernatural (2005– )
TV-14 | 44 min | Drama, Fantasy, Horror
Two brothers follow their father's footsteps as "hunters", fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.
Extremely weird and dark series that is fortunately lightened by the odd humour (not to say dark sometimes), the good dialogues and screenplays. Not always good, but always making the viewer want to see what happens next! Creepy sometimes too...
11. Eureka (2006–2012)
TV-14 | 60 min | Adventure, Comedy, Drama
A U.S. Marshall becomes the sheriff of a remote cozy little Northwestern town of Eureka where the best minds in the US have secretly been tucked away to build futuristic inventions for the government which often go disastrously wrong.
It is dull and predictable, and yet I like it... at least the 3 first seasons... the fourth I have difficulties with.
12. Smallville (2001–2011)
TV-PG | 60 min | Adventure, Drama, Romance
A young Clark Kent struggles to find his place in the world as he learns to harness his alien powers for good and deals with the typical troubles of teenage life in Smallville, Kansas.
Kind of bad and good at the same time ^_^ I cannot help but follow the series... somehow, I manage to get interested just enough to go on :P Since season 7 it is not the same though... I think they are killing the series by keeping it going, shame!
13. Roswell (1999–2002)
TV-14 | 42 min | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
The lives of three young alien/human hybrids with extraordinary gifts in Roswell.
14. Heroes (II) (2006–2010)
TV-14 | 45 min | Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi
Common people discover that they have super powers. Their lives intertwine as a devastating event must be prevented.
The first season was amazing and so different from anything else on the small screen, but then came the other seasons. The cast was still great, the stories not so much. It's a shame!
