This "ninja" movie from Sweden has many gory moments such as: blade stabbings and bloody bullet impacts. One of the action sequences contains many gory head and body explosions. The movie is pretty cool, it was not campy and trashy as i thought, it's watchable and enjoyable.

(obviously) made for cash-in in the upcoming "Ninja Assassin".

The fights are fast and well coreographed, there are not a lot of "ninjas", but there is a lot of bloody violence: bloody sword slashing and severings.

The first movie of John Woo made in America. The MPAA was in it's "ULTRA PC ERA", where they slapped NC-17 at every movie that contained blood spraying, this would get a regular R-Rating today. The movie is not full of blood, but the last scene has some decent bloody gun blasting (at least in the uncut "international" version). This is the only american John Woo movie that i found decent and it's one of the best JCVD movies.
