Sequels should only be made using the original characters but should otherwise be original in storytelling in every sense.
Remakes should never be done, if they are classics and great movies. They should only be done if they originally mediocre movies with some good ideas or bad movies which could be made much better.
TV shows should be brought to the big screen, if they are larger than the TV medium to begin with, such as The Fugitive.

A young opperata is stalked by a deranged fan bent on killing the people associated with her to claim her for himself.
Remake - Like Suspiria a movie with great ideas could be remade even better with a more cohesive plot and still using the Argento style. Above all drop the final ending.

Remake - This camp classic of the '70s could be redone and made a million times better.
25. Monkey Business (1952)

A chemist finds his personal and professional life turned upside down when one of his chimpanzees finds the fountain of youth.
Remake - This story could easily be redone and made better with maybe more heart and humor. Maybe show a more realistic approach to the childhood regression.
26. C.H.U.D. (1984)

A bizarre series of sudden disappearances on the streets of New York City seems to point toward something unsavory living in the sewers.
