My Favourite Films

I like a variety of films from dramas, classics to crime films specifically gangster films (my favorite movie genre) to action and horror as well as since childhood being a HUGE fan of comic book/superhero films. Here near the end of the list you will find many cult classics and films that I find underrated. For my favourite film I can not decide between The Godfather or The Godfather Part II both of which are the greatest films ever made. This is my top 250+, and rather than being biased, I keep an open mind in films, some films on the 3rd page may surprise you for being listed. Its my opinion, my preference of good cinema and films I enjoy very much for the entertainment factor and/or its cult status Feel free to leave comments.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

“ In my opinion, the most underrated film I have ever seen. This film went over everyone's heads completely. And not just because I am a comic book reader and fan of these characters. It was the first comic film aside from Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy that actually required you to remain focused and invested in its in depth and constantly evolving plot and many layered storyline. The characters were all done perfectly and excellently portrayed, Ben Affleck especially being the standout giving us a power house tour de force performance as Batman! Henry Cavill continues to be my favorite Superman and we had an intense and in my opinion a unique and original interpretation of arch criminal Lex Luthor in Jesse Eisenberg's sinister performance. Zack Snyder's visuals are incredible and is one of those directors who is currently polarizing but in the future people's perception of him will change, with this being one of those films that are under appreciated upon release but in the years to come will go down as a misunderstood classic of the genre completely ahead of its time such as Blade Runner, Scarface, The Shining, Fight Club, and Clockwork Orange. Look at Watchmen, it is considered better now than upon release a few years back and has already developed a cult following. BvS will be no different. ” - sidspano667
