Act(ors + resses) Who Will Stop Me From Watching A Movie Just Because They're In It

So sick am I of terrible actors/actresses, that I decided to compile a list of terrible actors and actresses who are so bad that their very presence in a movie has made me not watch it. Almost all of them are bad actors/actresses, and I'm tired of saying that they're bad. That means that unless I explicitly said that they're good, you can assume the ones on this list are bad actors/actresses.

1.
Ashton Kutcher
Christopher Ashton Kutcher was born on February 7, 1978 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Diane (Finnegan), who was employed at Procter & Gamble, and Larry Kutcher, a factory worker. He has a fraternal twin brother, Michael, and a sister, Tausha. He is of Czech (father) and Irish, German, and Czech (mother) descent...
“ Can't believe he was doing an engineering degree. Doesn't look like he's intelligent at all, and he can't act either. The 70's show was entertaining, but that was in no way because of him. The butterfly effect was good because of the writing. He's a terrible actor all around, creating bad TV shows (like punk'd) that wastes time slots on TV ” - gijoeforever

2.
Megan Fox
Actress, Transformers
Megan Denise Fox was born in Rockwood, Tennessee, to Gloria Darlene (Cisson) and Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. Megan began her training in drama and dance at age 5 and, at age 10, moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where she continued her training and finished school. Megan began acting and modeling...
“ She's not nearly as hot as people make her out to be. She's exotic looking, but not sexy. It's true that she's trying to be the next Angelina Jolie, except Angelina Jolie actually acted (and winning an Oscar) before doing questionable roles in movies. If she really wants to be like Angelina Jolie, she'd strip herself from her beauty, and totally dive into a role, no matter how ugly it'll make her look. ” - gijoeforever

3.
Jack Black
Jack Black was born Thomas Jacob Black in Santa Monica, California, to Judith Love (Cohen) and Thomas William Black, both satellite engineers. He is of British-German (father) and Russian Jewish (mother) ancestry. Black attended the University of California at Los Angeles. While at UCLA, he was a member...
“ Once in a while, recent Family Guy will make a joke that's funny because it's true. One of their succeeding joke is about Jack Black. Just because you have the ability to roll your eyes really big, scream wildly, and have too much body hair doesn't mean you can act. Mind you, he has been in some good movies (High Fidelity), but their success was in no way because of Jack Black's poor acting.

4.
Seth Rogen
A talented actor, comedian and writer, Seth Rogen has come a long way from doing stand-up comedy as a teen. Rogen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Sandy (Belogus), a social worker, and Mark Rogen, who worked for non-profits. His father is American-born and his mother is Canadian. He is of Russian Jewish descent...
“ Archetype stoner movies character actor. I guess when the majority of your audiences are stoned, your acting ability doesn't matter. Some of the movies are humorous, but more often than not, his scenes in humorous movies are the least funny ones. And then he tried to turn a classic action series into a bad comedy action film, ruining the franchise for everyone. Stick to writing, at least his writing could make people smile rather than cringe. ” - gijoeforever

5.
Vince Vaughn
Vincent Anthony Vaughn was born on March 28, 1970, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, and was raised in Lake Forest, Illinois. His parents are Vernon Vaughn, a salesman, and Sharon Vaughn (née Sharon Eileen DePalmo), a real-estate agent and stockbroker. They divorced in 1991. He has two older sisters...
“ Nothing good can be said about this guy. Any movie he's starred in sucked. The only movie he was in that was good was Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but that was solely because of the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. He should stop making movies, so the studios have more money to give to people who are actually funny. There are few things worse than a guy who's not funny, but thinks he is. ” - gijoeforever

6.
Jennifer Aniston
Actress, Friends
Jennifer Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California, to actors John Aniston and Nancy Dow. Her father is Greek, and her mother was of English, Irish, Scottish, and Italian descent. Jennifer spent a year of her childhood living in Greece with her family. Her family then relocated to New York City where her parents divorced when she was nine...
“ This one's difficult for me, because I actually liked Friends. Of course, that was mainly because of Joey and Chandler. Jennifer Aniston had some funny lines in it, but once she left television, she has done nothing good. A series of failed romantic comedy. I have a theory/something-everyone-knows that the only reason she's in so many movies is her fame, and her fame came from the Aniston x Pitt x Angelina thing. Of course, that's a terrible thing for movie watchers. That's because movies that are sent out with Jennifer Aniston in require no plot, no direction, but just Aniston. ” - gijoeforever

7.
Ben Stiller
Producer, Zoolander
Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller was born on November 30, 1965, in New York City, New York, to legendary comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. His father is of Austrian Jewish and Polish Jewish descent, and his mother was of Irish ancestry (she converted to Judaism). It's not surprising that...
“ Mutant offspring of comedy people. Both of his parents are funny, but he is not. His only redeeming quality was Meet the Parents, but that seems to be no longer a redeeming quality as the "franchise" is now ruined with the third movie. He is not funny, never was, never will be. The sad thing is, he's at least 10 years older than most other people in the same genre of bad comedy, but he's not really ahead because he is also very bad. ” - gijoeforever

8.
Eddie Murphy
Edward Regan Murphy was born April 3, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York, to Lillian, a telephone operator, and Charles Edward Murphy, a transit police officer who was also an amateur comedian and actor. After his father died, his mother married Vernon Lynch, a foreman at a Breyer's Ice Cream plant. His siblings are Charlie Murphy and Vernon Lynch...
“ He is a really sad, sad case. He used to be hilarious on SNL, witty, funny, clever, and charming. Now he's acting in bad family comedy movies. I'd never watch any movie that I see him in now, because they're guaranteed to be bad. Shrek series was different, because you really don't see him in that. I'd imagine if he wrote more of his own material like he used to, the result would be an actually remotely funny film. That's pretty good, comparing to other people on this list. ” - gijoeforever

9.
Adam Sandler
Adam Richard Sandler was born September 9, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York, to Judith (Levine), a teacher at a nursery school, and Stanley Alan Sandler, an electrical engineer. He is of Russian Jewish descent. At 17, he took his first step towards becoming a stand-up comedian when he spontaneously took the stage at a Boston comedy club...
“ Shame about this one too. He started out funny, but it went downhill and is continuing to go downhill. Once in a while, he'll be in a good movie, but if I had to take chances, I wouldn't watch anything he's in. The way he talks now annoys me to. His speech pattern didn't used to be so... slow and monotone. Now when he talks, it sounds like he's on drugs, making jokes that he'd laugh at only because he's high. ” - gijoeforever

10.
Justin Long
A likable, boyish-looking actor with thick eyebrows and a friendly smile, Justin Long is a native of Connecticut. He was born and raised in Fairfield, the second of three sons. His father, R. James Long, is a Professor of Philosophy at Fairfield University, and his mother, Wendy Lesniak, is a former Broadway actress...
“ He will always be the Mac guy to me, and he'll always be annoying like that. I have seen a couple of his films, and none of them I'd rate above a 6/10. All his scenes in the movies actually make the film worse. In "He's just not that into you", I found the movie tolerable when I fast forward through his scenes, because his "acting" sounds like a child reading from a book. ” - gijoeforever

11.
Jason Segel
Multi-talented Jason Jordan Segel was born in Los Angeles, California, where he was raised by his parents, Jillian (Jordan), a homemaker, and Alvin Segel, a lawyer. His mother is of English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry, and his father is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. He was educated at St. Matthew's Parish School in Pacific Palisades...
“ I used to like How I Met Your Mother, before they overuse their formula for comedy. I liked his character in the show, but I have a feeling that because of the show, he's starting to think he's funnier than he actually is. He's not too bad now, but he's heading towards the unfunny actor zone. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but that's no excuse for making bad movies. If he turns back now, he could still make some good comedy films, but at this time, I wouldn't watch anything he's in. ” - gijoeforever

12.
James Franco
Actor, 127 Hours
Known for his breakthrough starring role on Freaks and Geeks, James Franco was born in Palo Alto, California on April 19, 1978. His mother, Betsy Franco, is Jewish, and his father, Douglas Eugene "Doug" Franco, was of Portuguese and Swedish descent, and ran a Silicon Valley business. James's mother, a writer, has occasionally acted...
“ Here's an example of an actor who can act, but I can't stand watching. He's not great, but 127 hours is pretty good. Still, he's got a sleazy look that just makes me want to punch him in the face, so no way can I stand staring at a screen watching him for the length of a movie. ” - gijoeforever

13.
Colin Farrell
Colin Farrell is one of Ireland's best rising stars in Hollywood and abroad today. His film presence has been filled with memorable roles that range from an inwardly tortured hit man, to an adventurous explorer, a determined-but-failing writer, and the greatest military leader in history. Farrell was born on May 31...
“ I don't see the attraction to this guy. He's not a good actor, even though I'm sure he thinks he is. He's not intelligent nor ahead of his own times, though I'm sure he thinks he is. He's not physically attractive, though I'm sure he thinks he is. He hasn't been in any good movies at all, though I'm sure he thinks otherwise. The thing with this guy is he's trying too hard for things that should be unimportant to an actor, and not trying hard enough to do movies where he actually acts. You should count how many movies he's in which at some point, he's holding a gun. ” - gijoeforever

14.
Kristen Bell
Actress, Frozen
Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), a nurse, and Tom Bell, a television news director. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment at an early age...
“ She's fairly attractive, I'll give you that, but not enough for me to suffer through the bad films she's made. She seems to be working hard because she seems to be in a lot of things. But she hasn't made anything good at all, and I'd bet she wouldn't make anything good in the forseeable future. The trend of her atrocious films makes me certain that her next film will be bad. Unless I've heard from various sources that a film she's been in is actually decent, I'm not going to watch anything she's in. ” - gijoeforever

15.
Patrick Dempsey
Patrick Dempsey has lived two charming but separate lives on film and television. From an exuberant, somewhat awkward charmer in college comedy films of the late 1980s and early 1990s, he has morphed spectacularly into a dreamy, wavy-haired television hunk of the new-age millennium and this seductive...
“ I'm not a fan of Grey's Anatomy, so I'll leave that out. Movie's that he's in actually makes me look away because of his poor excuse for acting. I really wish they'd pick a better actor for Enchanted, because it really had potential. Usually bad actors at least have good looks, but he has neither. All you really need to do is put a mannequin in his place, and the mannequin's acting will be the exact same as Mr. Dempsey's. It baffles me how he has so many fans. ” - gijoeforever

16.
Rob Schneider
Robert Michael "Rob" Schneider (born October 31, 1963) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and director. A stand-up comic and veteran of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, Schneider has gone on to a successful career in feature films, including starring roles in the comedy films Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Hot Chick, and Grown Ups.
“ He's skeezy, unattractive, and can't act. What appeal are there to watch his films? I can't understand how a man of his age is able to continuously only make films in which audiences are laughing at him, not with him. To me, his acting style of similar to Jack Black: exaggerate everything, and hope others find that funny. Because if it's not, there's nothing else he can do for a living. ” - gijoeforever

17.
Shia LaBeouf
Shia Saide LaBeouf was born in Los Angeles, California, to Shayna (Saide) and Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf, and is an only child. His mother is from an Ashkenazi Jewish family, while his father has Cajun (French) ancestry. His parents are divorced. He started his career by doing stand-up comedy around places in his neighborhood...
“ I don't understand the appeal to this guy. He's odd looking, but he thinks he's cool because he's famous now. He always plays the same character: panicking young man frightened away by something. I could pick puppies to do that, and the puppies would be cuter than he is. He can't really act. I'm not sure if it's because he doesn't try since he thinks he's too cool an actor to act, or because he's trying but it's just that bad. He's ruined the Indiana Jones series, the Transformer franchises, and Wall Street for me. For that, I can never forgive him. ” - gijoeforever

18.
Rachel Bilson
Actress, Hart of Dixie
Rachel Bilson was born in Los Angeles, to Janice (Stango), a sex therapist, and Danny Bilson. Her father is Ashkenazi Jewish and her mother is of Italian descent. She began acting while still at Notre Dame High School. She graduated high school in 1999 and went to Grossmont College but dropped out after a year and was encouraged to pursue a career in acting by her father...
“ None of the people who was in the OC could act, and she's the worst one. I'm not sure if I can call her an actress anymore, because an actress acts, which she does not. Even though most of the other actors/actresses on this list aren't good, they're making an effort to be in many films. Ms. Bilson has been in 1 film per year since the OC ended, and they're all absolutely terrible films. I never thought it was possible, but next film she's in is worse than the one before. There's absolutely no reason for me to watch anything she's ever done. ” - gijoeforever

19.
Kristen Stewart
Actress, Twilight
Though most famous for her role as Isabella "Bella" Swan in The Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart has been a working actor since her early years in Los Angeles, California, where she was born. Her parents, John Stewart and Jules Stewart, both work in film and television. Her mother is Australian...
“ She was in Twilight, therefore, she's bad. Well, I can't really say that because Anna Kendrick was in Twilight, but she's becoming a pretty good actress. Ms. Stewart always plays the girl with no expression and messy hair. Someone could take a picture of her, blow it up to a life-size print out, and put that in the film. The only difference is that I wouldn't have to listen to the print out talk, or try to watch it act. ” - gijoeforever

20.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker was born March 25, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to Barbra Forste (née Keck), a teacher who ran a nursery school, and Stephen Parker, a journalist. Her parents divorced, and her mother later remarried to Paul Forste and had four more children, bringing the total to eight. Sarah now had 3 full siblings and 4 half siblings...
“ You know, for once, the rumors and gossip are right. She looks like a foot. She's never been sexy (despite what the media tries to make her look), and she never could act either. Since Sex and the City, all she's been doing is make bad romantic comedy films. I'm a sucker for rom-com, even the extremely cheesy ones, but I could not stand her films. Oh, I can't stand her either. ” - gijoeforever

21.
Jessica Alba
Actress, Sin City
Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, CA, to Catherine (Jensen) and Mark David Alba, who served in the US Air Force. Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German, English, and French ancestry, while her father is of Mexican descent (including Spanish, Indigenous Mexican and distant Sephardic Jewish...
“ She seems like a nice lady, but I don't understand her sex appeal thing. She ruined Fantastic Four for me, and her part in Sin City was luckily minuscule. Despite calling herself an actress, she hasn't really done any acting. If guys think she's so sexy, maybe she should just stick to modeling, and let real actresses do acting. ” - gijoeforever

22.
Eva Mendes
Actress, Hitch
Eva Mendes was born in Miami, Florida but raised in Los Angeles, California of Cuban-American heritage. In college, she began acting, studying underneath acting coach Ivana Chubbuck. This led to her desire to appear in feature films. Though taking many smaller roles in movies, she was little known until playing the girlfriend of Denzel Washington's character in Training Day...
“ She's a seasoned veteran, being in a lot of films. That is in no way saying she's at least a decent actress. Almost all the film she's been in are bad. Sure, they got a lot of publicity, and the studios seem to like promoting the movies she's in. That doesn't change the fact that she hasn't really done any film. I actually started to like Hitch, but I was forced to turn it off because I couldn't stand watching her any longer. ” - gijoeforever

23.
Hilary Duff
Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas, to Susan Duff (née Cobb) and Robert Erhard Duff, a partner in convenience store chain. When Hilary was six, she had been traveling in the Cechetti Ballet with her sister Haylie Duff but decided she wanted to fulfill her dream of acting...
“ She was a famous teen pop idol, and teen pop idols are known for being talentless, and she's no exception. She was promoted because of her cute looks, but that's not something that can get you far in life. This is a prime example. She starred in a few bad romantic comedies when she's younger, but not as the new generation of talentless teen pop idols are taking older, she's old news. Pushed into the background. She's trying keep in the game by being in movies that usually require the least amount of acting. ” - gijoeforever

24.
Miley Cyrus
Actress, Bolt
Miley Cyrus was born in Franklin, Tennessee, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife, Letitia Jean "Tish" (Finley). She has 5 siblings - two half-brothers, a half-sister and a younger brother and sister. Her birth name is Destiny Hope, given to her by her parents who hoped she would achieve greatness...
“ I wasn't going to add initially, because I always thought of her as being a poor excuse for a singer, and one of Disney's worst choices in years. However, as she's starring in more and more bad films, I have no choice but to add her. I can't find enough words in the english dictionary to truly describe how bad she is. She can't sing, she can't act, she's not attractive, and tries to make up for it by being slutty even though she's too young for that. Now that Disney has booted her out, she's struggling to keep her fame by transferring her bad acting skills from bad TVs to bad movies. There's no way she'll ever make a good film while she's still alive, so I have absolutely no reason to watch anything she makes. ” - gijoeforever

25.
Taylor Lautner
Taylor Daniel Lautner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to parents, Deborah, a software company worker, and Daniel Lautner, a pilot for Midwest Airlines. He, and younger sister Makena, were raised in a well-mannered, Roman Catholic household in Hudsonville, Michigan. At the age of six, Taylor began studying martial arts at Fabiano's Karate School and he...
“ There's a reason why I picked here instead of Robert Pattinson: Robert Pattinson is Cedric. Now that's not much better, but it's still better. Don't worry, Mr. Pattinson will be on this list too if he doesn't do anything significant quick. But Lautner has done absolutely nothing worth mentioning, nothing that puts him on the map for me. Yet, people seems to think there's this charm about him that forces me to watch bad trailers of bad movies with him in it. Go back to school kid, because you can't make it in acting. ” - gijoeforever

26.
Will Ferrell
John William Ferrell was born in Irvine, California, to Betty Kay (Overman), a teacher, and Roy Lee Ferrell, Jr., a musician. His parents were both originally from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Ferrell became interested in performing while a student at University High School in Irvine...
“ The reason why he's so low on my list doesn't mean he doesn't suck. I just forgot about him, because I've been trying hard to purge all information about him out of my mind. He's done nothing funny at all, but yet all his movies gets all this advertisement. With all the advertising, people watch his movies, so he earns money. Then, next film gets even more advertisement. He must be stopped. Some people think he's funny now, but all bad comedy actors had their moment. This is his, but soon his films will be worth as much as he spent on acting classes: nothing. ” - gijoeforever

27.
Tim Allen
Timothy Allen Dick was born on June 13, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, USA, to Martha Katherine (Fox) and Gerald M. Dick. His father, a real-estate salesman, was killed in a collision with a drunk driver while driving his family home from a University of Colorado football game, when Tim was eleven years old...
“ RETIRE ALREADY!!! Home Improvement was funny, Toy Story was alright though a little overrated, and Galaxy Quest was so good it's bad. But all his good days are behind him, so instead of making disappointing films, he should retire. Nothing new he makes is going to be good. Actually, the movies he made in the past aren't that good either. Some of them are just so bad they're humorous. ” - gijoeforever

28.
Mark Wahlberg
American actor Mark Wahlberg is one of a handful of respected entertainers who successfully made the transition from teen pop idol to respected actor. A Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominee for The Departed who went on to receive positive critical reviews for his performance in The Fighter, Wahlberg also is a solid comedy actor, proven by his starring role in Ted...
“ Marky Mark? Really? He used to be a bad rapper, and now he's a bad actor. His only skill is the ability to pick potentially good movies, but his acting makes them just barely alright. I'd love to see a movie where Marky Mark doesn't look angry all the time. I can only hope now that he realizes that no one takes him seriously, so he can continue to play humorously serious roles like he did in Date Night. ” - gijoeforever

29.
Rachel McAdams
Rachel Anne McAdams was born on November 17, 1978 in London, Ontario, Canada, to Sandra Kay (Gale), a nurse, and Lance Frederick McAdams, a truck driver and furniture mover. She is of English, Welsh, Irish, and Scottish descent. Rachel became involved with acting as a teenager and by the age of 13 was...
“ She's an example of a decent actress, but I don't like the films she's in. The only films that are remotely re-watchable are too cheesy to actually re-watch. A weird thing is more girls than guys I know find her attractive. ” - gijoeforever

30.
Robert Downey Jr.
Robert Downey Jr. has evolved into one of the most respected actors in Hollywood. With an amazing list of credits to his name, he has managed to stay new and fresh even after over four decades in the business. Downey was born April 4, 1965 in Manhattan, New York, the son of writer, director and filmographer Robert Downey Sr. and actress Elsie Downey (née Elsie Ann Ford)...
“ The addition of Robert Downey Jr. might bring surprise to many. The thing is I didn't really like Iron Man, which was his rebound to fame. It was entertaining, the CGI and expensive cars were cool, but Robert Downy Jr. was not. He has this creepy older man look to him, which is the furthest thing from the suave look he's suppose to be giving. Sherlock Holmes was not a good movie for me either. Without going into too much detail, I'll just say that he's not a bad actor, but just an actor in bad movies which got a lot of attention. Still, the bad movies made him famous, so he'll keep making them, meaning I'll keep not watching his movies. ” - gijoeforever
