the top sophisticated comedies

These are shows that are sophisitcated in that they show contemporary themes and treat them with respect, do not rely on bodily functions to make a joke, the characters are multidimentional and do not dumb down to make the show funny, unless the character is supposed to be dumb but even then the show still has heart
