“ Only a mild Bollywood touch, but if you have never seen a Bollywood movie before, this might seem a bit outrageous and corny to you. Its a lot of fun, and although its completely modernized, they managed to keep the storyline faithful. The main differences that I noticed was the conversation where Mrs. Darcy tells Lalita to stay away from her nephew (in this case son) is missing, but it did make it onto the DVD as a deleted scene. It was a great scene that they should have kept. And also, when Lakhi (super cute girl btw!) ran off with Wickham, Darcy didnt save her by paying for a marriage, but by punching Wickham a few times and bringing Lakhi home, which was also a great scene. In today's day and age, it is not as much of a disgrace for a girl to disappear for a few days, and the situation was salvagable without marrying her off, so I agree with that change.

The Bollywood actors' acting seemed a little melodramatic compared to the American actors, with the exception of Naveen and Indira who have more experience with American acting. But it didnt seem bad because that's just the way Bollywood is. It was a little more noticeable with a mixed cast, but it seems to fit the mood of the movie, which was light and silly and just immensely fun. ” - Clemontine

“ This is a lovely movie. I'm a huge sci-fi fan but still a woman who appreciates a good romance now and then. So to be able to get both in one movie is much appreciated. I actually read the book before I even heard the movie was being made. I mostly appreciated the changes. They made Gomez a much nicer guy, which is good. With everything else Henry had to go through he deserved a good friend he could trust alone with his wife. I also like the ending better. They took the reunion between Henry and Claire out of Alba's class trip scene and moved it to the end, which was a better way to go, I think, than having them reuinte one last time when she is old. It left open the possibility that he could show up at anytime, just like Claire and Alba discuss as they walk away. Much more hopeful. The only change I was disappointed with was all that they took out of Claire's teenage years. Henry meeting her friends, and them bugging her about dating an older guy, and of course the boy that burned her. It was still a really touching movie. I cried. :P ” - Clemontine
