200 titles
- DirectorPeter CollinsonStarsHonor BlackmanSusan GeorgeGeorge ColeAn English baby sitter is terrorized by her friend's ex-husband, escaped from an asylum.Often overlooked classic British slasher from the early 70's, extremely nasty considering the time it was made. Loved the very intense Ian Bannen as the psychotic killer
- DirectorKurt NeumannStarsDavid HedisonPatricia OwensVincent PriceA scientist has a horrific accident when he tries to use his newly invented teleportation device.Of course Cronenberg's remake is a fantastic film, but this is just a classic, special effects that are some what laughable these days back then were absolutely terrifying i'm sure. Made the following year in black and white was Return of the Fly, i actually find it to be slightly better than the original
- DirectorCrane WilburStarsVincent PriceAgnes MooreheadGavin GordonA crazed killer known as "The Bat" is on the loose in a mansion full of people.Very cool little who done it movie, the actual character of the Bat is very creepy with being dressed in black, those gloves with the razor blades on the end of each finger and that hat
- DirectorWilliam CastleStarsVincent PriceJudith EvelynDarryl HickmanAn obsessed pathologist discovers and captures a parasitic creature that grows when fear grips its host.A very silly unique movie, we also get to see Vincent Price dropping some acid haha and another very cool bit is that the film is shot in black and white but has one scene during an LSD trip where a bath tub is filled up with red blood and a hand coming up from underneath the water. Terrific stuff
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceMark DamonMyrna FaheyUpon entering his fiancée's family mansion, a man discovers a savage family curse and fears that his future brother-in-law has entombed his bride-to-be prematurely. It's all about the atmosphere in this one, very dark and dreary tale about a family curse. Loved the trippy dream sequence
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceBarbara SteeleJohn KerrIn the sixteenth century, Francis Barnard travels to Spain to clarify the strange circumstances of his sister's death after she had married the son of a cruel Spanish Inquisitor.Loved the unpredictable nature of this film, the first time i watched it i didn't have a clue what was coming up next or what was going to happen at the end
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceMaggie PierceLeona GageThree tales of terror involve a grieving widower and the daughter he abandoned; a drunkard and his wife's black cat; and a hypnotist who prolongs the moment of a man's death.Roger Corman directed these 3 stories based around Edgar Allan Poe's writings. Excellent little anthology horror introduced by Vincent Price who also has a part in each story. My favourite of the three would have to be "The Black Cat" because of the characters of the mean drunk and the wonderfully charming wine expert played by Price
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceMichael PateJoan FreemanThe twisted Richard III is haunted by the ghosts of those he has murdered in his attempt to become the King of England.Richard 3rd has always been my favourite of Shakespeares plays so i absolutely loved this. Excellent classic type score
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PricePeter LorreBoris KarloffA magician, who has been turned into a raven, turns to a former sorcerer for help.I think Vincent Price and Peter Lorre made a great comedic duo, throw in Boris Karloff and you get this wonderful little comedy/horror very loosely based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe
- DirectorJacques TourneurStarsVincent PricePeter LorreBoris KarloffDishonest undertaker Waldo Trumbull and his sidekick Felix Gillie are creating their own customers when they cannot find willing ones. Those three great actors return in an even funnier movie with Basil Rathbone hilariously over acting the entire time
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceDebra PagetLon Chaney Jr.Charles Dexter Ward arrives at a small village to visit the house he inherited from his ancestor who died there 100 years ago.One of the lesser know Corman/Price movies but just as good in my opinion
- DirectorReginald Le BorgStarsVincent PriceNancy KovackChris WarfieldAn evil spirit leaves the body of his human host, a criminal on death-row, and sneaks into the body of his next human host, a French magistrate.Truly under rated Price performance, lot of cool effects in this
- DirectorSidney SalkowStarsVincent PriceSebastian CabotBrett HalseyThree horror stories based on the writings of Nathaniel Hawthorne. In the first story titled "Dr. Heidegger's Experiment", Heidegger attempts to restore the youth of himself, his fiancee and his best friend. In "Rappaccini's Daughter", Vincent Price plays a demented father inoculating his daughter with poison so she may never leave her garden of poisonous plants. In the final story "The House of the Seven Gables", the Pyncheon family suffers from a hundred year old curse and the Pyncheon brother returns to his home to search for a hidden vault.Cracker little anthology horror with Price in every story :) the first short entitled Dr. Heidegger's Experiment was definitely my favourite, just thought it was very morbid and eerie and i must say i loved the little twist towards the end. The second story called Rappaccini's Daughter was actually very heartbreaking, the third called The House of the Seven Gables is a good old fashioned haunted house story which is made very well, there's a great scene where the walls start dripping blood
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceHazel CourtJane AsherA European prince terrorizes the local peasantry while using his castle as a refuge against the "Red Death" plague that stalks the land.Wonderfully lavish sets and costumes in this trippy film, they really don't make them like these anymore
- DirectorRoger CormanStarsVincent PriceElizabeth ShepherdJohn WestbrookA man's obsession with his dead wife drives a wedge between him and his new bride.Probably the strangest of the Price/Corman movies but still effective enough to be a creepy watch. Hard to follow at times though
- DirectorUbaldo RagonaSidney SalkowStarsVincent PriceFranca BettoiaEmma DanieliWhen a disease turns all of humanity into the living dead, the last man on earth becomes a reluctant vampire hunter.Depressing vampire/zombie movie based on the book 'I am Legend' Price does an excellent job considering he is alone most of the time. Obviously a huge inspiration to Romero's Night of the Living Dead film a few years later
- DirectorJeremy SummersHans BillianStarsVincent PriceMartha HyerGeorge NaderWhen a vacationing couple in Tangiers run into an old friend there, they discover that he is searching for his missing girlfriend who has been kidnapped by an international gang of white slavers. Nader investigates but before he can come up with anything, his friend is murdered. Meanwhile, nightclub magician Price and his mentalist partner continue their nefarious activities--they hypnotize and kidnap young women for the white slavers, and spirit them to the "House of 1000 Dolls."Nice late 60's exploitation film featuring Vincent Price as a magician, very odd little film may not be for everyone's taste
- DirectorMichael ReevesStarsVincent PriceIan OgilvyRupert DaviesDuring the English Civil War, a young Roundhead seeks vengeance against a vicious witch-hunter and his henchman, who have terrorized the soldier's fiancée and wrongfully executed her uncle.Price's own personal favourite performance, it's definitely up there he plays an absolute bastard in this one, although it would be deemed tame by today's standards it caused quite a stir when it first came out for it's violence, was cut to pieces so i would recommend watching the totally uncut version
- DirectorGordon HesslerStarsVincent PriceAlister WilliamsonChristopher LeeAristocrat Julian Markham keeps his disfigured brother, Sir Edward, locked in a tower of his house. Sir Edward occasionally escapes and causes havoc around the town.Very enjoyable adaptation of an Edgar Allan Poe story
- DirectorGordon HesslerStarsVincent PriceChristopher LeePeter CushingA serial killer who drains his victims' blood is on the loose in London. The police follow him to a house owned by an eccentric scientist.First thing, don't be fooled into thinking this is a film with Price, Lee and Cushing as the three actors with the most screen time in this, that couldn't be further from the truth. Price doesn't prominently come into it until the last half hour, Lee only has a handful of scenes and Cushing only has the one. That being said i quite enjoyed the whole mystery to this one, had a bit of a mixture of being a modern day Frankenstein story mixed in with a bit of vampirism and a crime thriller. The musical score was so out of place i found it absolutely hilarious
- DirectorGordon HesslerStarsVincent PriceElisabeth BergnerEssy PerssonIn 1500s England, a cruel witch-hunting magistrate, who often tortures innocent villagers for his entertainment, runs afoul of a witch who conjures a banshee to kill the magistrate and his family.Although it feels like a poor man's Witchfinder General, it's still highly entertaining with some very cool shots and a unbelievably great finale
- DirectorRobert FuestStarsVincent PriceJoseph CottenVirginia NorthDoctor, scientist, organist, and biblical scholar Anton Phibes seeks revenge on the nine doctors he considers responsible for the death of his wife. The film in my opinion had a huge influence in the making of Se7en, highly original and still to this day looks very cool. Although there is a lot of comical moments the revenge itself is quite nasty in nature. The sequel Dr Phibes rises again definitely has it's shortcomings but worth the watch all the same, lot of cool kills. Peter Cushing also has a short cameo
- DirectorDouglas HickoxStarsVincent PriceDiana RiggIan HendryA Shakespearean actor takes poetic revenge on the critics who denied him recognition.I would still watch this movie if it was just Vincent Price reciting Shakespeare but add a bit of killing and some very creative Shakespearean type death sequences this is truly one of his best
- DirectorJim ClarkStarsVincent PricePeter CushingRobert QuarryA horror movie star returns to his famous role after years in a mental institution. But the character seems to be committing murders independent of his will.Horror favourites Vincent Price and Peter Cushing in the same movie :) criminally under rated in my opinion, i've always loved films that were kinda movies set on a movie set or following a certain actor. Loved the scene were Price was being interviewed by Michael Parkinson haha classic stuff
- DirectorRoy Ward BakerStarsVincent PriceJohn CarradineAnthony SteelA writer of horror stories is invited to a "monster club" by a mysterious old gentleman. There, three gruesome stories are told to him; between each story some musicians play their songs.Just a very fun horror anthology. Let down sadly by the third film which was just too confusing but the musical performances between each story sure did make up for that. Personal highlight was Vincent Price dancing with a fat girl at the end
