At the very end of WWII (but after the official end of the German occupation of Denmark), during the days of May 7-8 1945 Soviet planes bomb Nexø and Rønne on the Danish island of Bornholm. Two eye witnesses reflect upon the events.

During the end of WWII the Danish island of Bornholm was not liberated as the rest of the country on May 5, 1945. The following days on May 7 and 8 Soviet planes bombed the island.
