Why did you redesign the navigation bar?

One of the main reasons we redesigned the navigation bar was to provide you with more menu options at the top level; with our previous navigation bar, we simply ran out of room to provide additional options for browsing the site.

In addition, we create many seasonal sections on the site, such as the Summer Movie Guide, Fall TV Preview, Road to the Emmys and Road to the Oscars, and we wanted a way to display an easy way to reach each such a section throughout the length of its run. With the "Featured Link" display at the top right-hand side of the navigation bar, we can now provide you with persistent links to these great sections.

Providing you with great video content continues to be an important company objective. We wanted to ensure that you could browse our video content from any place on the site and find out about the latest trailers, clips, TV episodes and full-length movies that have been added to the site. Check out our "Video" category regularly to peruse the most recently updated video content.

We've expanded our News section to include Movie, TV and Celebrity news channels. These channels are now accessible via the navigation bar and refresh throughout the day with up-to-the minute news items.
