Some of your box office pages include figures for theatrical rentals. What are those?

Theatrical rentals (often simply referred to as 'rentals') are the part of the box office take that goes back to the distributor, i.e. they're the gross minus the percentage for the exhibitors.

On some old or foreign films, only rental figures may be available instead of grosses, and vice versa.
