A movie not produced by a major studio.
close-up shot of an object, often produced by the second unit. The term probably came about to reflect the fact that this shot will be "inserted" into the final version of the movie during editing.
The aspect ratio in which a film was created and the creators intended it to be shown.
Used in a slug line, indicates that the scene occurs indoors.
