Synopsis: Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World, so everything they do must go as planned.

Why We're Excited: It's hard to believe it's been almost a decade since the first Harry Potter film was released and we have literally watched Ron, Hermione, and Ron grow up on the big screen as we followed them on their adventures. And from the looks of the trailer, we are in store for an action-packed thriller that is even a bit frightening. This is clearly not just a film for kids.

Why We're Not: It was recently announced that the film will not be shown in 3-D as originally planned due to problems converting the film into the format. We don't have a problem with watching the film in 2D but it makes us a bit nervous. Also, because it has been split in two parts, we are guaranteed to be left hanging and we'll have to wait until next July to see how it ends. Boooo!

Trivia: M. Night Shyamalan and Guillermo Del Toro expressed interest in the directing the final installment of the Harry Potter series.
