Synopsis: A story-telling doctor's deal with the devil sends him scrambling to save his daughter on the eve of her 16th birthday.

Why We're Excited: This is Heath Ledger’s last film project, so we are excited to see him on the big screen one last time. Terry Gilliam changed the entire film’s fantasy premise in order to save the film and Heath’s last performance.

Why We're Not: When Imaginarium premiered at Cannes, it wasn’t getting rave reviews but now the buzz seems to be all positive. So there’s a great possibility the film has been dramatically re-edited from the original. Also, it’s been said that Gilliam is cursed and it seems to be following him to this film. Producer William Vance died a few months after Ledger, and last fall, Gilliam was hit by a car and broke his back.

Trivia: Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law all donated the income they received for the film to Ledger’s daughter Matilda.
