Best Overall Stunt by a Stunt Woman

Angelina Jolie evades federal offices by jumping through traffic. A stuntwoman jumps from a moving big rig to a gas truck. Using wires, the stuntwoman then jumps onto the top of a box truck and almost slides off the side of the truck. When the truck makes a hard brake, she rolls off the truck. All of the vehicles were moving at speed.

Alice in Wonderland: Tarah Paige
Alice falls through the rabbit hole. In the first part of the stunt, a stuntwoman falls 20' through a 2 ½' opening to a porta pit. In the second part of the stunt, a she is on wires, falls 25' to an Aussie trampoline and bounces to a porta pit. In the third part of the stunt, a stuntwoman jumps 20' thru a breakaway ceiling onto porta pits. Then, the stuntwoman was hung 12' on a quick release, cut away to a curved set piece and hit a floor with no padding. CGI was used throughout the sequence of falls and landings.

A Nightmare on Elm Street: Tarah Paige
Freddy Krueger tosses a woman around a bedroom. The stuntwoman was rigged to move around the room like a puppet. None of the walls were padded and everything she hit was practical. CGI was used to erase cables and input the ceiling.

Best High Work

The stunt team fell off an 80' cliff, crashing to the water below. No CGI or wires were used.

Five people tumble and fall down a steep hill about 100' and end up going over an 80' cliff and freefall into the water. No CGI was used for this stunt.

A red car does a 180-degree spin and a 90-degree slide, weaving through traffic. The car then does another 90-degree slide, hitting a car and knocking a bad guy down. A taxi backs up pinning the bad guy between two cars, pushing him backwards. The cab breaks free as it does a reverse 180-degree spin and drives off.

A pier is doused with gas and explodes with all the bad guys on it. This was shot multiple times. First, stuntmen do various partial burns and hand ratchets send them flying off pier while fire is all around them. Next is a wide shot of the entire pier blowing up with no stuntmen on the pier. No CGI was used.

A motorcyclist is hit on the head with a helmet and crashes into a parked car. The only CGI was the helmet that was thrown at the motorcyclist.

A Nightmare on Elm Street: Tarah Paige
A woman is tossed into a bedroom wall. The stuntwoman does a 12' ratchet to a practical wall that was not padded. She falls onto a table and then the floor, which had a 1" pad. CGI was used to remove the cable.

Best Work with a Vehicle

Date Night: Erik Solky, Debbie Evans, Corey Michael Eubanks, Jalil Jay Lynch, Katie Eischen
Taxi cab and Audi R8 joined together driving through traffic while double climbs across hoods of moving cars, car does 360 spin then gets split and taxi ends up in the East River. Performed by Erik Solky, Debbie Evans, Corey Eubanks, Jay Lynch and Katie Eischen
