Later, after seeing the risen Jesus forgive Peter on the shores of Galilee, Chris realizes that like Peter, he was acting out of fear when he refused to acknowledge Joy's friendship. Once the kids return to the present, Chris takes a pass on the pick-up game and heads off with his true friends to celebrate Joy's accomplishment.
