Out of shape and out of practice, Tommy has to decide if he is up to accepting Rico's challenge, it which would also bring him face to face again with Pamela if he accepts.

Tommy even making it to the press conference let alone putting on a good face is affected by both his and Vaani's past coming back to the present.

In going through with this return to his former life, Tommy has to confront his old boxing life, including the role of Lowly Sr.'s incarceration in his meltdown five years ago. There is a last minute change in the charity bout, that change that will end up being a no win situation for Tommy.
