- Closed Exits is a short film based on the video game Portal originally created by Valve. The film is orientated around a young woman who signs up for medical testing but after being submitted onto the program she is kept against her will within the testing facility. She then escapes from the facility with another test subject but finds that once she has escaped everything has gone a bit to well. The film was created by a cast and crew all of which are no older than the age of 18, the film cost under 100 pounds and was shot on the canon 5D mark ii. We used abandoned places for locations including an abandoned mental asylum in Essex and an RAF base near Cambridge.
- The Plight of Freedom is a first hand look at the lives of refugees who have fled Syria and surrounding areas and have been placed into migrant camps across the Middle East. Despite the sudden influx of news reports, the focus of the main news institutions has been to cover the political and economic side of the story, rather than the impact that the crisis can have on a family or person. Our aim is to present the lengths that families fleeing Syria and surrounding countries have gone to in order to keep themselves and their families safe. We want to not only show the terrible and traumatic journeys these people have undertaken, but to also show the resilience and bravery of the people who have been faced with shocking circumstances.
- Four teenagers go on a classic camping trip and find a large glowing orb that leaves them with unusual abilities. These abilities first seen as a privilege very quickly lead to their downfall.
