Insbesondere der charmante Kurt Kunkel (Sven Martinek) fasziniert Angela, sieht er doch wie ein Filmstar aus. Ehemann Achim wird zunehmend nervös und Angela hat nicht nur ein mörderisches Rätsel zu lösen, sondern auch privat ein kniffliges Problem.

Usman Achmedow entführt Judiths Bruder Alex, um seinen Sohn freizupressen: Judith soll dem Untersuchungshäftling eine Waffe zuspielen. Usmans Ultimatum stürzt Judith in ein Dilemma: Soll sie als Staatsanwältin Gesetze brechen, um das Leben ihres Bruders zu retten? Auch Hauptkommissar Montag gerät in einen Zwiespalt, als Judith sich im offenbart. Der einzige Ausweg scheint Judiths Jugendliebe Matthias Stolze zu sein. Er könnte ihr helfen - aber kann sie ihm trauen? Judth Schrader kommt moralisch und psychisch an ihre Grenzen. Ein waghalsiges Spiel unter Zeitdruck mündet in ein dramatisches Finale auf Leben und Tod.
