- Three years after her husband's death, Stella (Kris Aquino) decides to marry Anton (Diether Ocampo), who was her great love before her parents forced her to marry Danilo. However, his mood quickly turns sour after Janelle (Ria Atayde) rejected his plea of getting back together. TJ (Fino Herrera) cries in disbelief upon seeing the lifeless body of his infected father (Ced Torrecarion). The slugs inside Melba's (Bianca Manalo) body start to act up while she is trying to rekindle her friendship with Janelle (Ria Atayde). Melba (Bianca Manalo) makes a romantic confession to Gary (Bernard Palanca) amid the turmoil in El Cuerpo. Janelle (Ria Atayde), Lia (Kaori Oinuma), and Daria (Liza Lorena) express to Jessie (Rafael Rosell) their worries over Melba's (Bianca Manalo) strange behavior. Melba (Bianca Manalo) undergoes an operation to get rid of the slugs inside her body after she tearfully revealed to Gary (Bernard Palanca) and Jessie (Rafael Rosell) that she got infected. Queenie (Desiree del Valle) corrupts Warren's (Michael Flores) mind into choosing the power and dominance he can attain with the help of the golden slug.

Warren shares with his family his hunch that Jessie attacked Queenie. Jessie and Princess (Charlie Dizon) bump into their family after they managed to escape from the infected beings at the Salvacion mansion. Princess lashes out at Jessie for killing Queenie. Warren explains to Princess why Jessie had to kill Queenie. Col. Felipe (Chris Tan) meets the El Cuerpo residents who escaped from the island. Jessie and his brothers search for any means of communication in El Cuerpo. Daria (Liza Lorena) encourages her loved ones to stay strong despite the hardships they faced in El Cuerpo. Jessie and his brothers rush back to their family after they encountered a small group of infected beings. Infected beings attack Princess and her family as they prepare to meet up with Jessie and his brothers.
