- A young woman who is handicapped after an accident becomes attached to an AIDS orphan.
- The dancer is at home in a large room full of light. Despite the continuous pain and uncertainty, she wants to dance. She dreams of dancing, dreams of the way she moved before her illness. Images of childhood ballet lessons reaffirm that movement and dance are at the core of her identity. She dances the movements in her mind, but the body is not yet ready. We all have to face our existential loneliness and the limitations of our bodies. Life brings surprises to us all. The little dancer still jumps and dances; hope and freedom are not lost.
