- Ujszászy has been known as a sly expert, a smooth tactician, a womaniser and the legendary love of the actress Katalin Karády, but he was only interested in the fate of his country. Although, being the leader of the Hungarian Military Intelligence, he regularly informed the Third Empire, Japan and Italy of the military plans of the Allies, but, in order to avoid the ultimate collapse, he became a key figure of the attempt to quit the war, a major negotiator of the Anglo-Americans, who was therefore persecuted by the Nazis. After his prison sentence, the Major General returns to Budapest occupied by the Red Army and is put under house arrest, guarded by the newly established political police. His careerist and unqualified interrogator uses all possible hacks, tips and tricks to acquire the knowledge of the Major General recalling the bygone era of gentlemen but the intrigues of Gábor Péter fail soon. The leader of the State Protection Department has no choice but to make an offer to Ujszászy and an infernal game begins.
- The film follows seven days of a young gypsy, with a short excerpt from each day. Through these brief 'life' images, the film gives a dark and fragmented portrait of Kristóf, similar in style to Hungarian fiction documentaries of the 1970s and 1980s. A life at a standstill with no possibility of change is documented in the figure of the protagonist: Kristóf has neither the social background nor the education to turn his fate around.
