- In a dark fantasy world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls) and George R. R. Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire), the player is a Tarnished who is called back to the Lands Between to restore the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

While seeking to discover what has happened, the trio meet up with the Queen of Ice, a golem sealed long ago, and thus begins the main tale of Enchanted Arms.

Hearing of this, a group of surface dwellers form the rebel group called "The Line Ark" attack the "The League" in an attempt to bring order out of chaos. In this another mysterious faction called the "ORCA" has surfaced, their motives unknown to both sides.

Michael Wilson, a relative of Woodrow Wilson, soon becomes the 47th President of the United States, drawing parallels to the real life presidency of George W. Bush at the time of the game's release. Vice President Richard Hawk decides to usurp Wilson's presidency, shifting the armed forces' loyalty to him and attacking Wilson with their support. Hawk begins a reign of terror and makes numerous detrimental actions as president, from re-instituting slavery to committing outright atrocities.
- The story of Dark Souls II involved an abyssal entity known as Manus shattering into numerous fragments. This DLC focuses more such autonomous fragments who set off to various kingdoms in search of control.
- In an alternate future, the cold war ends differently resulting in a 3rd world war. With the world in a continued war mentality - new walking tanks called 'Hounds' are created. Three countries face off in a new way each trying to maintain their own sovereignty. The game puts you in control of six different role type hounds (Soldier, Sniper, Defender, Scout, Heavy Gunner, and Tactics Commander). Play through missions where you use each different role type and gain parts to build your own hounds. Then take the battle online where you can make your own squads and join the online campaign to see which of the three countries will reign supreme.
- The game is set in a futuristic post-apocalyptic war in which the Resistance is engaged in an all out war against the so-called "FATHER" and his Corporation. Gameplay and story are featured differently from all the other games in the Armored Core series. Each mission in the story contains voice-over narration that depicts the history involving the events in Armored Core V and how the player character and his group approaches every situation. The in-game environments of the story missions are based in war torn cities, harbors, deserted ancient facilities, and post-apocalyptic wasteland.
- The game is set in a dystopia on Earth, where corporations have conquered the world's governing bodies amidst increasing civil unrest and dwindling resources, and established a new world order named the Pax Economica, forcing citizens to live in oppressively-ruled colonies. Following The Raven's victory over Exusia, the contamination that isolated humanity had begun to subside, allowing humans to return to more of the world. The discovery of high-tech Towers, once hidden by the contamination, ignited a new war--known as the Verdict War--between several different factions. Adding to the conflict is a mysterious group known as the Reaper Squad, as well as the usage of Unmanned Armored Cores called UNACs. The game follows the story of an unnamed AC pilot, generally indicated as The Raven, who accepts assignments on behalf of various factions, encountering numerous mercenaries in battle, before entering into conflict with the Reaper Squad and the Foundation.
- Sixty-seven years after the events of the Subterranean Era in prior games, Earth's second largest corporation, Zio Matrix, acquires plans for a research project on Mars, dating back before the Great Destruction. Using these plans, Zio sends a research team to Mars to begin the Terraforming Project, which causes the Martian surface and atmosphere to approximate that of Earth. Other corporations learn of the project and quickly follow Zio Matrix, bringing with them the competitive environment that existed on Earth, and the employ of the mercenaries of Nerves Concord. As the three companies' war comes to a close, the most powerful, Zio Matrix, attempts a coup against the government, which has regained control through its elite mercenary team, The Frighteners, led by Leos Klein. But in the chaos that ensues, the Frighteners turn on the government, assassinate the new leader of the LCC, and take control of powerful Disorder technology. The player character is tasked with confronting them and saving the human populace of Mars.
- The country of Verdite has descended into decay. Its royal family began practicing dark magic, guided by evil forces lurking beneath the surface of the country. A remote descendant of the cursed bloodline, Zoela Reinhardt, married the captain of the king's guards, Houser Forester. This valiant man went off to fight horrifying creatures that appeared within the Royal Cemetery. He has not returned, and neither did anyone who accompanied him. His son, John Alfred, ventured into the depths of the cemetery, determined to find out what has happened and whether there was still a chance to rescue his father.
- Ruus Hardy returns home to his city Zeptar only to find his city and tower sucked into the underworld. He gets the sword and goes in the tower to save his city.
- The game's protagonist Raikoh Minamoto (based on Minamoto no Yorimitsu) was born into a clan of executioners under the emperor's command. Raikoh was given the order to kill his own father. He couldn't bring himself to do it, so he stole Soul Shrine, his clan's ancestral sword, and fled the capital city of Kyoto. Upon his departure, the seal separating the demon and human worlds was broken. Kyoto was all but leveled and a wave of demons appeared. Raikoh was almost killed by the flood of darkness, but a princess banished to the netherworld saved him and held him in a state between life and death. The princess gave him a new body in exchange for his services. She would allow him to repent for his sins as an assassin by saving the world from the demons unleashed upon it. Raikoh begins his quest to restore the seal and stop the one responsible for it's collapse.
- In the presumably distant future, the vast majority of Earth's population is wiped out by a cataclysmic war known as the Great Destruction. The harsh conditions that result force the few remaining survivors to live underground for fifty years, during which time corporations come to power. The two largest corporations, Chrome and Murakumo Millennium, constantly battle each other for supremacy, causing significant strife among the populace. However, the competition provides endless opportunities for the Ravens, mercenaries who exist independently of the corporations. You, the protagonist, pilot an armored core (AC), which is a giant mecha robot.
- As the newly hired architect for a team that has just made it into Formula Front's Bottom League, the player has been tasked with assembling and preparing the team's ACs for battle against those fielded by other Bottom League qualified participants. The decision as to how the ACs should be operated in their upcoming matches, manually or AI-controlled, is left for the player to determine. Both methods offer their own unique challenges. As the Architect (the player) reaches the Regular League, he/she is confronted by another brand-new team, BT Wyvern, and it's architect, Linus. After 2 matches against BT Wyvern, Linus sends a message that he meet the Architect again. Rank after rank, the Architect again confronts a formidable opponent, Team Ogre, and it's architect, Diablo. Though Ogre usually wins through harsh tactics, their battle against BT Wyvern was horrible. Fortunately, the Architect defeated Diablo. As the Architect gets nearer through the top ranks, the Architect is again confronted by BT Wyvern with a new AC model Afterwards, Diablo confronts the Architect again with an AC similar to Linus' AC and has installed with a mysterious data in Diablo's AC. The Architect manages to defeat Diablo and Team Ogre was temporarily banned due to being accused of stealing the 'Master Data'.
- Prier and her brother Culotte are novices with the demon-hunting organization, La Pucelle. They've just passed their final exams and are ready to do real work fighting demons and zombies, but quickly find themselves embroiled in a series of plots orchestrated by a rival church with dark intentions. The gameplay is played on a tactical map, as teams up to six characters work to clear boards of enemies and dark energy. The unique "purify" command allows players to recruit monsters to their team and execute complex "miracle" energy attacks.
- A horrific crash on the Moon Colony has left you separated from your fiance. To reunite with her, you must journey into the paranormal world of Echo Night: Beyond. As you explore the different environments in the lunar colony, you'll find a desolate base haunted by the spectral remains of those who called it "home." Through the fog and shadows, you must overcome your fears and solve a variety of challenging puzzles.
- Cookie and Cream are two cartoon bunnies who are on their way home on the night before their clan's yearly moon festival only to find out that the moon has decided to run away, and if Cookie and Cream aren't able to find it, there will never be another festival. Fearing this, the duo sets out to make sure that it doesn't come true.
- Another Century's Episode Portable is a third person shooter video game. Players pilot a mecha from one of 20 different anime series, each posing their own unique weapon load-outs and attack styles. Represented series include Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Macross F and Aura Battler Dunbine, in addition to original mechas created specifically for the game. Players use these mechas to complete various mission objectives, which increase in difficulty as the player progresses. Objectives range from destroying waves of enemy mechas to protecting a specified target from opposing forces. An online multiplayer mode allows multiple players to complete these missions together. Portable is presented in a more linear format than previous installments, focusing on completing missions as efficiently as possible and lacking a plot.
- An accursed idol that's responsible for destroying an ancient race has resurfaced to wreak havoc among the kingdoms of man. It's up to you to return the idol to the Ancient City to break its curse, but many obstacles stand in your way. With your powerful sword, you must battle through more than 100 monsters. Should the sword fail, you have spells, items, and armor to serve you in your quest. Treasures await the warrior bold enough to attempt the journey, strong enough to face the minions of death, and wise enough to follow the path of light.
- Evergrace 2 takes place directly before the events of Evergrace. Darius lived a somewhat sheltered life with his parents in the small village of Solta. Though not having any siblings, Darius was very close to his friend Sharline, whom he cared for like a sister. However, Darius' simple home life in Solta would come to a tragic end when assassins hired by the secluded village of Morea murdered Darius' parents for unknown reasons. In addition to facing the loss of his family, Sharline was nowhere to be found, leaving Darius with the conclusion that she was also killed.
- In the wake of the now defunct Navis's failed attempt to control recovered ancient weapons technology, the world has been left in tatters. Looking to consolidate power, the Corporations (Crest, Mirage, and Kisaragi) have merged into one super-corporation known as "The Alliance". Fed up with corporate rule and oppression, and seeing a newfound threat in The Alliance, a Raven known as Jack-O (an important but minor character from Armored Core: Nexus) forms an organization of Ravens known as "Vertex" from the ashes of the fallen Raven's Ark. After rallying a sizable force of fellow Ravens to his cause, Jack-O declares that he will launch an all-out war on the Alliance in 24 hours. Leading the opposing force, a Raven named Evangel has rallied just as many Ravens to the Alliance and is preparing to fight Jack-O head on. Making matters all the more complicated, many Ravens have turned into independent warlords, setting out on their own after the collapse of Raven's Ark.
- Five years after the coup attempt led by Leos Klein the Earth government struggles to realize one of its original objectives, relocating people from the underground cities to the Earth's surface. These plans are hopelessly delayed because the government has had to shift its focus from resettlement to military buildup. A necessary move in the government's eyes, needed to keep both the corporations and the situation on Mars in check. After facing various setbacks, the corporations that once held sway on Mars are in positions of diminished influence. This does not sit well with them and each is secretly rebuilding their personal armies in order to contend with the government's growing might. Tensions between the corporations and government are at a breaking point. With all of the government's efforts currently focused elsewhere, resentment toward the institution from the general populace is at an all-time high. Tired of being neglected, people living in the underground cities have taken matters into their own hands and incidents of armed revolt are a daily occurrence.
- Following the destruction of the machine-run society of Layered at the hands of a Raven, mankind has slowly begun the process of returning to the surface and repopulating the face of the globe. All is well with mankind, or so the corporations would lead you to believe; however, despite disbelief of their assurances in the general populace, things truly are looking up for humanity. Reconnaissance teams are sent out all over the world to search the land and determine what has changed, and to seek areas to for the returning humanity to go. Everything so far seems to be explorable, or at least reachable; everything, that is, except for one area that continually eludes scouting. All attempts to investigate this region are met with complete loss of contact from the exploratory units, mostly at its border. Anything that attempts to cross the line goes silent; thus this demarcation becomes known as the 'Silent Line.'
- Cain Morgan is the adopted son of the leader of the Security Force in the kingdom of Heingaria. One day, Cain has a strange dream that brings back memories from his childhood, when his native country Solcia was invaded by the neighboring Aldine. All he remembers is that "everyone went to the island". This mysterious Island of No Return is presently of great interest to the king, who is trying to find why the Elders sent a research team there. The island is rumored to harbor a ring with unseen powers, and the king secretly dispatches Cain to investigate the fate of the people who had ventured there and disappeared without a trace.
