- The small village of Agersted, located close to Dronninglund, North Jutland, were heavily nazified during the 1930s and 40s. The concentration of Danish Nazis was so great that the city was referred to as "Nazireden". Denmark's National Socialist Labor Party (DNSAP) had its heyday during Denmark's occupation 1940-1945. After the war, however, the residents of Agersted repressed the past and today there is still total silence about what happened during the Nazi occupation of Denmark.
