- With the destruction of the Smoke Jaguar Clan and the abatement of the Clan threat to the Inner Sphere, veteran warrior and estranged noble Ian Dresari returns to his home world, Kentares IV, the site of the bloodiest massacre in the history of the Inner Sphere, only to find that yet another massacre is occurring. His cousin, a puppet loyal to the conquering Lyran Alliance forces, has slain his family and tried to place the world under the rulership of House Steiner. Now Ian is in the lead of a rebel group intent on taking out the pro-Steiner forces on Kentares IV, by any means necessary.
- The threat of the Clans is over, but mankind is still at war. A planet in the Carver system is one of the most hotly contested areas in the now dubbed "Chaos March", as it is in joint jurisdiction of both the Capellan Confederation, ruled by House Liao, and the Federated Commonwealth, which has been taken over by House Steiner. When an ambitious FC general strains the uneasy truce to the breaking point, it touched off a brutal war between Capellan and Commonwealth forces, growing even worse when the Commonwealth forces are divided by the return of the Commonwealth's original rulers in House Davion.
- Since the 1860s, Cubans have lovingly played baseball, a game that represented independence and modernity. Both Cuba and the U.S. embraced the game, but in distinct ways. Set against the back-drop of the choppy history of U.S.-Cuban relations, Greener Grass documents how both countries have used baseball as a political tool and how the sport has operated as both a bridge and barrier between the two lands. The film features interviews with current and former baseball players in both countries, media commentators and baseball historians on both sides of the straits of Florida. Greener Grass is a provocative look at the ironies and complexities that emerge when two nations share one pastime.
